  1. On flat interstate I'm pulling 17.5 MPG and downhill from Sierras to Sacramento I can average 23 MPG. No !
  2. I have heard that Toyota deliberately delayed the release of the Tundra... maybe to take the pressure of TOTY off of them? I would have thought they would go for the COTY/TOTY sweep. That SEMA Tundra was pretty naughty.
  3. Thanks for a smooth transaction Brian... see you around.
  4. The argument is not weak, this a forum about some stoplight to stoplight SAFE runs, but it was weak to poke at Canada: retraction requested. Let's agree to disagree.
  5. Do you know if it was old or new? Do you remember any of the chorus/words? You mean Halloween the movie or just an eerie sound?
  6. zzzzz... Oh, I'm sorry were you talking? I must have dozed off. No, actually you are stupid for thinking that we don't have a clue. Obviously we do this while excercising restraint and consideration for the right time and place. Also, I don't think I have ever raced anyone on a street to a speed greater than 60 MPH (what's the point?) So the next time you are cruising along at 15 over the 45MPH limit on the main drag (and you know you do it) think of me. BTW, did some snooping, this explains a lot... eh? 64 comet afx Jan 26 2006, 04:34 PM Post #8 SS Newbie Group: Members Posts: 16 Joined: 15-December 05 Member No.: 7784 Owns: Fan View Vehicles I am so f%$#&* jealous. What I wouldn't give to be able to get the EVO's over here in Canada. Stupid 5mph bumper laws.
  7. I'm on version 2.0 and it is doing it again. I am down for it. Maybe we could reach out to www.gm-trucks.com too as that is a pretty large community and I know this problem is not only reduced to SS owners. I'll PM the info once we are organized with a decision.
  8. Kum ba yah, my Lord, kum ba yah! C'mon dude... avoid writing things and actually confirming your stupidity. I would be willing to bet a paycheck he lives out here on this left-coast that I have to deal with. BTW, those JCSRT8s are stupid fast... Pointless vehicle (butthole exhaust requires special adapter for towing) but 4.6 0-60 stoc is impressive in anything over 4500lbs.
  9. I had one of the first '04 titans in January of '04. Go over there and read about the brakes they put on them. Nissan eventually blanketed them under their warranty due to design issues. I traded my Titan for an '05 SS almost two years ago now. I 1/4'd both of them and the SS ran quicker and it stopped stronger. Game over.
  10. Must be free of any curb rash! Will consider chrome, but am having them powdercoated so hate to waste a nice set of chrome wheels on that. I am in Northern California (95630). Will also need the centercaps. Paypal is easiest. Thanks for your time!
  11. I'm in NorCal, Greater Sacramento, 95630, approx. shipping cost? Would like to see a few pics if possible. Thanks!
  12. Wheels sold? Stockers right? Willing to up purchase price to $350 as long as all are straight and no curb rash. Let a fella know. I would need them shipped but will pick that cost up as well obviously. Thanks!
  13. Ditto. I'm at 38K miles now. Had it replaced probably at about 20K miles and it has once again reared it's ugly head.
