  1. As many that show up. ... Last year we had about 18 trucks. We had two lanes in the begining, but got put down to one, due to not as high of an attendance as we expected.

(Matt may want to chime in here)

Last year ... we didn't need anything. They wiggled my battery and slapped an Inspection Passed sticker on my windshield, and I was good to go ... I did bring a helmet just in case.

I think they only made us wear a seatbelt. ... LOL

Make sure all lugnuts are on the truck and your battery is tied down. they throw a fit about those two :jester:

13.99 and faster now need helmets. If you don't have one they do offer rentals in the tower but this isn't a strict rule. Just remember you have no idea how fast your truck will run there, after all, its mostly stock.......................................................get my drift.

also count me in for both days.

  2. sounds like you guys need to heat up the tires a bit more. loooooooooooonger burn out should do it just fine. DR are an excessive expense IMO. You can usually hook better when the track is cold because of the heat difference from tires to track. but you need them hot enough.

So next week, is it at E-town or Island.

  3. I have a 3-2-1 and a cinemate (not the same). Cinemate is on the TV, Playstation and i think it sound great. the 321 i use for music cause it stores all the cd inside on a hard drive. The sound quality is excellent and the effects are great too. If your going to spend more money then component systems are the way to go but to do it right, you'll be spending in the 1500-5000 range. bose is an excellent value for the price IMO. (I believe the cheapest Denon THX reciever is $1100 plus speakers, cables..........................bose IS cheaper)

  5. how did they know the tune was in there anyway? you can't tell with a tech 2. The computer would have to be sent out to GM and the engineers would have to find that. If superchips locks the tune then the only thing they will see is that they can't re-flash the computer and they should be saying"the computers junk and needs to be replaced".

I didn't realize that all 07's came with the 5yr 100k warranty, i thought it depended on when it was bought.

  6. chances are, the chip had nothing to do with the blown engine. Unfortunately, with the milage you have, your going to have to throw a fit with GM customer service. Technicly gm only warrants the engine to last 36000 miles so after that it's a bonus. I'de seriously throw a fit at the dealer ship though as their job is to find out WHAT REALLY made the engine go so if they put a new one in, it dosn't happen again.

  7. The guy with the Tahoe is a member of Gmfullsize.com, I believe what happened was the t case came out then the ATF hit the headers and caught it on fire. Very sad, that guy had alot of $ into that tahoe. As for the SSS, that cant be good.

I believe dylan knows who he is, he posted that about a year a go. Pretty rough though.

  8. pretty much the best alarm system out there is the code SRT-9000. make sure and get the tilts sensor for it also. If you want complete disable, hook an I-key with the transponder on the center councle next to you pocket so it disables the neutral saftey switch. this way the computer won't allow the engine to start if they can get past the starter disable in the srt-9000 alarm. tricky and if you wire it professionally and take your time to hide everything in side the factory harness's, it would take a mechanic hours to find the system without you telling them it was there, let alone a theif. Also, don't put any sticker or lights out on the dash as this just makes the car easier to steal to a theif cause they know whats in it and what they have to get arround.
