  1. so far I am leaning towards either august 19th or September 23rd. We only have 6 cars so far though. still need 4 more to have our own lane. This shouldn't be a problem. post the date that will work best for you.
  2. i think they meant $11,598 which is a real good price.
  3. That guy is full of it. no offense but snap on DOES NOT make a tool that is capable of reflashing a pcm in the fassion you are looking for. they can flash factory updates but not change any of the parameters. The tool he is talking about is called the modis. And for logging, that isn't the kind of logging you want either it can only log a very few PID's. Your going to either find someone or buy your self hp tuner or efi live to get this accomplished. Sorry, people who have the money to buy these tools should also have the knoledge to back them selves. These people just get me angry cause I am also in the business.
  4. No one else interested??? Christ, maybe Ill just go to the ford lightening web site. there should be more there
  5. Sweet, that 06 SSS will burn out right? Theres plenty more in the area speak up guys. Lets have some fun up there.
  6. alright thats two just 8 more and the rest is a bonus!!!!
  7. So i was up to Lebanon Valley for my normal sunday routine and I was talking to sue in the office and she told me that it would be no problem, if we had 10 or more cars to have our own lane for Silveradoss.com. The dates available would be either, august 19th, august 26th, or september 23rd. Curious how many would be interested in getting together and either racing, watching, or just showing off. It's all about fun and meeting each other. Let me know how many people are interested and what dates would work best and I could get this arranged.
  8. vaccume line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator
  9. c'mon we all have a little rice in us!! That is funny. I like all the mis matched body parts on the cars that will never be finished. I see them here all day.
  10. i tried pming him put he hasn't responded back yet? that sounds good, did you have to drill the hood or just use double sided tape? some of the emblems comes with studs but i was thinking i could just dremel those down and use the double sided tape. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I drilled for the guide pins, then cleaned with first kleen, then used 3M emblem adhesive in very very small quantity (this only needs a light coat, so you barely know it's there) and attached. never a hint of coming off, through car washes, rain, snow, buffing, waxing. never a problem untill you want to take them off, then the paint comes with them.
  11. This should work perfect for you. It will be a direct bolt on behind the throttle body of any SSS. You can still keep everything stealth like I said, and if you already have your bottle, you can just get the plate, solenoids, and lines. confussed and you shall recieve answers. This is also much more precise than a fogger in the air duct. http://www.holley.com/05168NOS.asp
  12. i used those same logos from the camaros, and in between the cowl and induction i put the 66 impala SS logo with the two flags. I'll post pic of it later. need to take a pic first. Got everything from classic industried, all metal, for about $50. I agree, it looks to blah without logos there.
  13. no, one wire goes to the tps 1 signal. it reads the voltage, then you can set the wot voltage in the box to whatever you want. Idealy you want it .05 volts below what wot really is. at the end of a run at the track, it's always a good practice to keep wot untill you switch off the arming switch but you don't have to. hears another link to the install sheet. they make it sound like more work than it is. only takes about a 1/2 hour with all the hiding and wiring. http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R10406.pdf
  14. maybe thats why the logos were upside down on the one we saw a while back. Nice radix on that one though. hehe. factory my ass though.
  15. yep, you just connect one of the wires to an arming switch, one to the relay for nos/fuel, one to the number one injector, one to the next injector in the firing order (8 in our case), and oneto the tps signal on the throttle body. put the wires into the factory wiring loom and your done. On our trucks, everything can be hidden under the engine covers so you would never know it was there. be ultra steath and put black loom arround all the nitrous pluming and it's a total sleeper even with an experienced professional looking under the hood. i should say stealth only if your using a throttle body plate. the foggers in the air intake are always a dead givaway but so horible with precision, i don't know why it would ever be considered.
  16. i put it on quite a few different cars. it works flawlessly and it's a real clean install. everything can be kept to look factory as far as appearence goes.
  17. so thats the honda SS kit i've been hearing about. seriously though, it pretty cool. nice job
  18. I already have a window switch (MSD). So are speaking of something that more or less lets you manually pull the timing when you need to? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no sir, this would not only be your WOT switch but also only allow spray during a certain rpm range (Window). check the link. very nice setup. http://www.holley.com/15972NOS.asp
  19. I'll talk to a few of my guys there and see if we could maybe arange something for only SS trucks (our own lane) how many would be interested though. Also I'll be down at the Holt raceway near Pensacola in the 2nd week of august. Anybody down there for some SS action?
  20. also try nos for their drive by wire window switch. i've put it on a few cars and it works great. only an arming switch and the rest is automatic. real consistant times for brackets.
  21. looks like time for new heads to me. do the cam too your just about there having the heads off. thats the up side anyways. th gasket is probably corroded right through. not he first time we've seen this from chevy. good luck man.
  22. alright, we ll see what we can do sometime in the middle of august.
