yup according to the pacesetter site it is for 2wd drive trucks. that sucks i was worried when i got mine that i got the wrong part too but after double checking the numbers, i was cool. maybe they can work something out for you.

have you tried to search summit or google for that part number for a description?

that sucks....i work that friday from 2:30 to 11 and then i have to be back at work at 6 am. if i was free i would go. i work off craig so im pretty close. if something happens i'll roll.

yeah i wouldn't go to hart just for that reason. they bump their prices just cuz the show and they are in the palms.i know where oxnard is i was born and raised in ventura i was thinking about a&a but i wasn't sure if they had an awd dyno.

i'll have to check them out im going to ventura for thanksgiving. i'd rather have it done in cali anyway cuz anything from tattoos to women are more expensive here just because its vegas. thanks for your suggestions. Alan

what cats should i use with the pacesetters?

i was asking about the cats damaging the engine. but thanks for the muffler info.

anyone? my pacesetters should be here in about a week and im trying to get all of my parts together before i go to the exhaust shop. also any info on high flow cats. read a couple of posts but had second thougts when they started talking about the possibiliy of damaging the engine. so far the x pipe and cut outs are the only things i am for sure on. thanks alan

anyone wired a manual fan switch in their 05 or had two switches for each fan? i was at work the other morning sitting in my truck eating breakfast when i noticed my temps started to jump to about 220 and since i didn't want to be an ass and raise the rpms with my cutouts, i had to turn the a/c on just to build head pressure so the fans would kick on. the ambient was about 55-60 and i really didn't want to run the a/c. living in las vegas this time of year is nice cuz at night you can either run without a/c or have the windows down, but in traffic or parked my temps jump. schematics would help too. thanks Alan

thats easy to beat just after you fill up reset the mpg and go easy on the throttle to about 45 mph and then let off the throttle and let coast you'll see like 24 i've done it just never thought anyone would be stupid enough to fall for such a cheap trick.

well think of it this way the more that get totaled the more rare these trucks get. up the value! thats good for the rest of us, especially if its totaled in a controlled movie production where no one can get hurt!

from what i heard on the news lastnight was that in order to keep supply up with demand, the government is lifting some of the emissions laws on production of fuels. less demand= cheaper fuel, but thats only a temp thing. also i think that if the larger companies started taking hits then we would see mergers, then it would be all for nothing and we would be buying fuel from mobchev76ell at over four bucks a gallon anyway.
