  1. Hey a GP would be great if we could get it, true. I work in retail so I will call them on monday and see what I can gather. All us fails I will still pay full price for one anyways. It would just be nice to get a deal. We will see.

  2. from my experience, those systems are great if you are working from a car that dosn't have a computer already in it.  to eliminate the computer in our truck right now, you would have a huge electrical project on your hands, not to mention no chance of ever passing an emissions test.  I would stick with the factory computer and upgrade the operating system if you want to go crazy.  that will provide alot more versatility.

That is a very good point. I think I am going to just get a Zippy Tune.

Right on. That makes a lot of sense. thanks

  3. It seems like it has always been like that. The truck always comes to a stop, it just feels mashpotatoe like. That was another good description. The service advisor and I both took a ride and he said that it braked fine and that he would have drive another SS just to be sure. But both times they resurfaced my rotors and cleaned my pads. They were a little glazy they said(brake pads).

  4. I have had my truck into my dealer twice now because the stock brakes just seem a lttle spongy like. I was told that, that the hydrobusted sport brakes are suppost to respond that way. It just doesn't feel right when I am at a stop and the peddle pretty much goes to the floor with no resistance at all. I have had a couple people take it for a test drive to get their opinion on the brakes and they also thinks it brakes funny. The dealer say they are working fine. So my question is does anyone have the same kind of braking response on there stock hydrobusted brakes. :dunno:

  5. Has anyone read about the FAST Fuel Management System. I am thinking about purchasing this as a full stand alone for my 04SS. I have read a lot about it and it seems like it has everything to offer from spark to nitrous control. Plus there is a tuner here locally in indy who is fluent in this system.

http://www.fuelairspark.com that is the web site. I don't know how to add links yet.

  6. Right on guys for the info. I will look into those other brands. 1 7/16" sounds right. I don't know what I was thinking with 1 7/8" :dupe:

Hallow sway bars *shakes head* Do you really need to cut your weight saving that much? lol. I was under the impression that you wanted to limit sway bar flex, hollow bars despite the hype will flew more than a soild bar. I've have always liked Hellwig, very soild product, and they dont have you mounting things all funny and drilling trough your floor like Hotchkis will somtimes.I dont know what HEllwig has for our trucks though, But I'll tell ya there set up on my 72 camaro is smokin! Rememeber, with Hotchkis your paying for the name

very good point! I will consider that in my decision.
