  1. im not sure why my peak power is low but i know that with the truck manifolds the runners are too long to flow enough air to make power at high RPM's but the long runners give us more power at low RPM's.
  2. I just got some hawk hps pads for my 05' SS but they didnt fit so i called Hawk and they said that they sent me the right ones and they didnt know what the problem was...... Just something to keep in mind about Hawk.
  3. The E brake does nothing when your moving that fast and in truck that heavy. (I've tried it)
  4. yea im going to post it as soon as i get my scanner hooked up so it should be up this weekend. I did the pull in 3rd gear.
  5. I kinda fell off the face of the earth, ive been up in Oregon at school. but im back for another month before i have to go back up. Yea, Ryne at Cunningham Motor Sports tuned it, he's been getting some big numbers out of his tunes. It was on a dyno dynamics dyno in Laguna hills. Ryne's looking to buy one so we went over there to test out the dyno and he used my truck as the test vehicle and tunned it at the same time. And no it was on all motor but hopefully Ryne should have his own dyno soon so ill post the numbers i get while im on the bottle.
  6. I took my 05' SS to Ryne at CMS for a dyno tune and he got some impressive numbers. My base line numbers were 309hp and 373tq. After a few runs he got my tuck putting down 338hp and 403tq. The graph looked a lot better too, it carried the power a lot higher in the RPM's and the graph lines were a lot smoother. i also had him leave it a little rich so i can spray. I will post the graphs once i get my scanner hooked up. Shot at 2007-08-11 Shot at 2007-08-11
  7. I'll be there, after all I'm only 2 hours away and ill see if Charlie (the tuner) from A&A corvette's wants to go.
  8. it wont be to hard on it but its not good either, just make sure its a good setup and dont make spraying a every day thing
  9. i dont have a wide band yet but yea i think it went rich cause the bottle empty.
  10. im running a 150 wet shot on my 6.0 but for your 5.3 I wouldn’t go over 100 wet shot, there are people that do but 150 is pushing it. As far as price you’re looking at $750-$1000 for a complete system depending on what you want.
  11. Last night me and of few other guys got together to race and on my first run my nitrous solenoid stuck open. I was running a 150 wet shot on a NX kit but luckily my bottle was almost empty so it ran out of pressure and didn’t blow my motor, on the contrary there was too much fuel and the motor just bogged. Does any one have any ideas on how to fix it? Will NX replace to solenoid?
  12. Let me know what day you guys are going cause you can count me in as long im still in cali, i leave for Oregon on Jan 8th.
