I haven't posted alot on here, but this is one of my "daily" stops......I've learned more about my truck on this forum, than I would of if I would of worked at GM.............. -

.............The dealer down here has a black '05 quad-cab SRT-10 with only 28 miles on the odometer...(never owned).............asking price is $36,000.00....price is slightly negotiable according to the salesman.....
Might go in this morning and test drive it .....just for S&G's..............

A while back, I had posted up about a getting a Silverado SS garage banner made by a company on the 'bay with the id---Ridgetopdesigns----Well, Casey e-mailed me back tonight with the auction number of the banner.......(220028642206)....and showed me what he came up with.....He said that they could do different colors, etc.etc.........................It's a 2'x4' banner made out of heavy-duty vinyl.......should be getting mine next week.............
Check them out....they are pretty cool.................. -

I can't believe that they actually would do such a crappy job..........well, yes I can. It seems that most dealerships don't "take pride" in their work, and prefer to do repairs more as a quota-type of business. -
I've been looking around for a Silverado SS garage banner, and have yet to find any.....I did come across some kick-a$$ banners on eBay from a company with the user name.."ridgetopdesign"............I contacted them the other day, and a guy named Casey said that it would be no problem to design a garage banner for the Silverado SS. I was thinking of something along the lines of a black banner with "Silverado" in a Silver-Chrome, and the "SS" font in red..........with maybe a bow-tie somewhere on there....any ideas? They have some banners that have an image of the vehicle on there, and I was thinking about sending him a pic of the truck to see if he could possibly incorporate that into the banner also.....if you get a chance,(and are into garage banners) check them out. I think it would be a great idea for the shop.....................

Yeah but I wonder if this one will fit,But they have been alright with customer service atleast.I bought it from streetpros.com and they are decent peopl eit seems like,no run around seemed like they were actually trying to help me.Im not used to that from most parts places.

Sorry to hear you let 'er go................But hopefully the new owner will take just as much pride in it as you............I see my old Z-71 and 442 Cutlass running around town, and it just makes me sick to see them due to the new owners not taking care of them...................

Hey guys....................
I did a search on seat covers..................found a few topics where people were talking about getting some from okole or Katzkin..............but didn't see any pictures of them installed. I just noticed tonight that there is a "slight" discoloration....kind of like a wear-spot......on the outside edge of the drivers seat, and am in the process of finding some covers to keep it from getting any worse. Any pictures out there of seat-covers installed on your truck? Would greatly appreciate any input...............

...........with everything they are going to just "sand down and paint", it would make more sense for them to just do the whole truck........but, we all know how our glorious insurance companies do things.....
