  1. I'm not too keen on messing with the DBW system by clipping on something to screw with the way it works. Made by some guy in his garage or wherever. Hes not a company, he has a single product. Were getting ready to have our first child. I want it 100% the way GM built it to work. I have spent the bulk of the money and just want to try it at this point. Although I appreciate your opinions, and I normally do the same of others on forums that I think are wasiting time/money. It is counter-intuitive for me also, so everyone and their brother can tell me its not what they would do. It not normally what I would do either, I understand engines very well. I just want to try the adaptor....... Great! Im still tinkering with the tune on a day to day basis. I have to get it on the eddy current dyno to reach the cells I cant hit on the street. It pulls like a freight train...I love it. I was going 40mph the other day driving with a buddy, stomped it and fishtailed almost into his lane.
  2. I bought a TBSS intake for my 2004 Silverado thinking I could bolt it on, swap my 75mm DBW throttle body for a 90mm DBW throttle body and be back on the road. I was wrong, the throttle bodies don't interchange. I have seen a picture of an adaptor plate that bolts onto the 90mm (4 bolt) intake and then allows you to bolt your 75mm (3 bolt) onto that. I cant find who makes it. Ive searched and searched, so maybe someone on here can point me in the right direction. I know there is a jumper harness at rushperformance or wherever, but I do not want to use that. I'm not comfortable with it, and choose not to risk it.
