i have a question about my front bump stops. i have searched already and didn't find what i was looking for. my front drivers bump stop is touching the control arm. the pass side is close to the same 1/8" off i would say. would cutting back one or 2 of the ribs on the bump stop help me out? i have the bilstein shocks at all 4 corners. thanks justin

so i just moved back to cali and noticed much more horse power but not when i am on it i can hear detonation. when i was in colorado i never heard anything coming from the engine compartment. i was wondering since i bough the truck used could there be a tune that was for higher altitude that maybe was installed on the truck? because it never had an issue until i got down to sea level. thanks justin

so my truck isn't lowered at all but the shocks feel great. the ride is very smooth yet it handels like a dream through the turns. i love them and am very happy with the results from the shocks.

A 3/8" impact gun with a 20" extension and deep socket from under the hood will zip that nut off in 10-15 seconds, no extra wrench needed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i know that i wish i had one. hpoefully santa brings me a compressor

so i installed the shocks today which was a breez. on the stock shocks for the front i figured out that using a 17mm rench on the shock under the frame there is a part of the strut where you can hold it in place. i did the front with this trick in 20min. helped out a lot and thought that this info would help out someone else.

i noticed that. i know the back was easy the front keeps spinning. usually there is a place you can put a rench in to hold it in place but i didn't see anything. all well looks llike tomorrow will be fun

i got mine today anyone know how difficult they are to install on the SSS?
-
how do the shocks ride? i am contemplating ordering them and would like someone's opnion on them.
-
i know the seller you are talking about i called him today and he told me the same thing then i called bilstine and they said they just released them. called the seller back from ebay and he called bilstine and ordered 4 sets. so if you want he should have them in the morning.
