I have 225k miles on my '05 and the water pump finally went. I replaced upper and lower radiator hoses and all the heater hoses, figured it was time.
Read the horror stories of getting the heater hoses off at the firewall, over time the plastic tends to snap. Used the quick disconnect tool as previously shown and everything came off easily.
Invaluable cheap set of QD removers....worth the $$!

Has anyone heard from shopman?
I'm in need of one of his bowties and I haven't had any success in locating him.
Know of any sources for an SS bowtie besides him?
Thanks

nothing?? any guidance is appreciated.
Not sure where the fuel pump wiring runs but you have a relay for it in your fuse/relay box under the hood. If you interrupt that signal the truck will crank but it won't fire off. At least mine didn't when it stranded me at the airport.

I am having my buddy at the dealership look in a tahoe, and get me a year.
Thanks xistent.....unfortunately the dealers don't seem to have these items in stock so it's kind of hard to check before you buy....hence my Yukon switch. Think it was about 23.00

Here's the stock SS switch.....the Yukon switch I have has a different connector.

Thanks jon...

Added the wallet pocket on the left.....TC button to the right...
Need to run wires from old connector to new switch....need wiring diagrams.

I would like to mount my scan gauges where the TC button is on the left of the steering wheel. Has anyone moved the TC button to another location?
I moved it over under the radio...used a TC switch from a Yukon. Different connectors and I have yet to get it connected. Need to have the pin outs for both connectors so I get the wires right.
Will post pics tomorrow to this thread.....

Why is it that the divorced women always want to drag the married women down into their dungeon?
I'm married and I definitely feel for ya brother but I have seen several instances where divorced friends of a supposedly happily married woman start playing the mind games with the married ones. They start running you down and the next thing you know she's running off to go hang out with her support group! It's like I'm miserable, your my friend, you should be miserable too!
I hope things work out for the best!
It's like they say, Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em!
