  2. Looking for a reasonably priced lower grille piece for my 2005.....post up if you have one for sale. Thanks!
  3. I have 225k miles on my '05 and the water pump finally went. I replaced upper and lower radiator hoses and all the heater hoses, figured it was time. Read the horror stories of getting the heater hoses off at the firewall, over time the plastic tends to snap. Used the quick disconnect tool as previously shown and everything came off easily. Invaluable cheap set of QD removers....worth the $$!
  4. Has anyone heard from shopman? I'm in need of one of his bowties and I haven't had any success in locating him. Know of any sources for an SS bowtie besides him? Thanks
  5. Magnaflow with slash oval tips....
  6. Not sure where the fuel pump wiring runs but you have a relay for it in your fuse/relay box under the hood. If you interrupt that signal the truck will crank but it won't fire off. At least mine didn't when it stranded me at the airport.
  7. Ordered it new...think it was 04/05 Yukon.....
  8. Wallet pocket P/N is 15732033.....7.95 Switch P/N is 15061684.....26.50 Pop the front dash cover off and swap the stuff over....
  9. Thats the ticket, some wiring diagrams and connector P/N's....see what I can dig up this week.
  10. Thanks xistent.....unfortunately the dealers don't seem to have these items in stock so it's kind of hard to check before you buy....hence my Yukon switch. Think it was about 23.00
  11. Here's the stock SS switch.....the Yukon switch I have has a different connector. Switch BackSwitch Front
  12. Thanks jon... Any specific year Tahoe? Was kinda bummed I couldn't just plug and play.....would love to have a switch that is direct connector fit. Later...
  13. My Webpage My Webpage Added the wallet pocket on the left.....TC button to the right... Need to run wires from old connector to new switch....need wiring diagrams.
  14. I moved it over under the radio...used a TC switch from a Yukon. Different connectors and I have yet to get it connected. Need to have the pin outs for both connectors so I get the wires right. Will post pics tomorrow to this thread.....
  15. Less PSI change as the tire heats up and no moisture inside....
  16. Count me in as well.... 2005, 30k miles, clunks like hell! PM for info....
  17. Pop it off, pop the new one on...no biggie....
  18. Welcome! The first mod you can do is the antenna delete....nice and cheap. Maybe I'll see ya on the highway!
  19. Why is it that the divorced women always want to drag the married women down into their dungeon? I'm married and I definitely feel for ya brother but I have seen several instances where divorced friends of a supposedly happily married woman start playing the mind games with the married ones. They start running you down and the next thing you know she's running off to go hang out with her support group! It's like I'm miserable, your my friend, you should be miserable too! I hope things work out for the best! It's like they say, Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em!
  20. Part number is 15116616, they list out at 117.94 each so start the ebay hunting....
  21. Come on now....a bunch of hot chicks....or two guys....what would you rather watch???? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> rugmunchers of course.....
  22. I heard thats why we have Fords.....so our tools don't get rusty! Seriously though if thats what you get to drive around in for work it's pretty nice! You need a "My other truck is a Silverado SS" license frame though...
  23. Thanks zippy... I'm gonna do some parts checking this week and see if the bits are available. I kinda liked having that spot to stick the wallet after you have gone thru the drive thru.....
  24. OK, where is the traction control button on your SS? Mine is on the left hand side next to the air vent. Are all SS's the same? I have seen Yukon's with the button on the right hand side, just under where our interior SS badge is located. Personally I would prefer to have it on the right and be able to install the wallet slot like my old '99 Silverado LT had. If it can be done I'm going to make the position swap, shouldn't be too hard to do. Thanks in advance.
