  1. Those are some awesome rides . Someday I'll have a good collection
  2. Thanks for posting that zippy, now I can continue to be lazy and not scan that in, lol
  3. Try to start the vehicle, if it doesn't start, leave the engine in the run position for 10-11 minutes until the security light on the dash turns off. Turn the key off for 30-45 seconds, then start the process over. After the third lack of start, it should fire up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I'm not mistaken, the paper said to turn it off no longer than 30 seconds... I just got back into town a few hours ago and am at work right now. I'll try to get it scanned in within the next few days.
  4. I can vouch that the 2wd isn't 98mph. I hit 106mph and that's where it stayed while I had it floored. Since the PCMforless tune though.... all I can say is that +115mph is easy to hit
  5. firervfd37 - I do have a catback system, I'm running the Corsa Sport system Blue_SS - The relearn isn't really a "bitch", it's just a pain to have to sit there and wait for the thing 3 times. I know that someone posted the instructions, but can't remember where, If I get a chance I'll scan in the instructions that came with it.
  6. Last week I got the Outlaw CAI and installed is, it's probably one of the most complex intakes I have ever put on a vehicle, but it was worth it. I hear the intake more than the exhaust now when I get on it. I got my PCM from PCMforless on Tuesday and installed it. Swapping the PCM doesn't take long at all, but dang does the security relearn thing suck!!! Of course I had to test drive the truck once I installed it, and I was pretty impressed. This is by far one of the best mods to do to the truck. It feels much stonger and the speed limiter is gone (it was fun testing that part on the way to work last night ). I think for now the mods to the truck are going to stop, but it's still going to be fun enjoying them. I It's time to start saving up to buy a car and fix that up to have fun with also.
  7. I've got to say that I agree with everyone, I'm just not feeling it. It makes me glad that I didn't wait for the new body style to buy one
  8. It's much much better than what I can do, thanks.
  9. I think that I may have said it wrong in my previous post, I have the factory speakers run off the bose amp, and do have a cap installed going to the amp for the subs. I apologize for miswording that. If it was the wiring I would assume that all the door speakers would do this and not just the rear 2. maybe I'll have some time to head back there yet again soon and see what they say again. Thanks again for your replies.
  10. Anyone willing to help me out with a much better sig? as you can see I'm not all that great with PS Full Size image Full Size image More images can also be found HERE, some might be better than the ones I put here
  11. I have a Pioneer AVIC-D1 running the factory speakers and Amp to those, along with 2 JL 10w1's and a V12 Alpine amp. I can't say what adaptors were used but I can try to find out as I had it installed by a shop. I'll first try to read the receipt (wish me luck) to see if it says. I have already had the place I got it installed check it out once and they looked at all the connections, but it's something to check out again. Thanks.
  12. So far from the reading that I have done on here the best bang for your buck is a custom (or mail order) turn. I plan on going with a PCMforless tune once I have the CAI installed that is on order
  13. I'm not positive, but from what I have read here on the site, the Corsa system for the SS also fits the VHO
  14. Since I had my NAV installed there has been an odd crackling coming from the rear speakers in the truck. This noise is there no matter what volume I set it at, or if if the source is off (nothing playing). I took it back to the audio installation place where I had it installed and they found one of the adaptors that had to be used was bad and replaced it, yet the noise continues . Does anyone know what could be causing this? I was thinking about replacing the rear speakers on my own to see if this resolves it, but am not sure what to go with. What ohm impedance does the factory (Bose) amp run at? I know that most factory systems run at 2 ohms and aftermarket stuff is 4 ohms. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  15. what is so special about the "classic" silverado version?
  16. I didn't get the remote option, but I'm thinking about it now... They did the light even though I told them not to, so it's cool. The light actually works better than I thought that it would.
  17. it was right aroung $1250 installed. Things are slowly starting to make their way onto the truck . Next up is a CAI and PCMforless tune hopefully.
  18. Here are some pics of the Sunglid SL that I had installed about 3 weeks ago.

    HID's

I just recently installed 6000k bulbs in my truck with the stock lenses and the light output is much better than I expected. If you drive alot at night it's definitely worth the upgrade.
  20. Same here... Here is a pic of the passenger side of the truck.
