Well other than giving my truck to one of you fine gentelmen is there a way to make this chime go away? Please help!!! Any ideas would be greatly apperciated. Thanks in advance. Shane.

Hello All, I have upgraded my stock 6 disc changer to a non lux Navigation unit, everything works great except for the chime in the truck is soooo damn loud and I can't turn it down. I have been to a GM dealer and they said they could not connect to my Nav unit thru my truck to turn it down, I have tried to cut the light green wire that goes to my BCM and it still chimes. I want it gone forever! Please help with any ideas. Thnaks so much Shane.

the wire from the speedo was the one in the A4 position a dark green wire with a white line in it and the wire on the c2 connector was the one in the E position....I unplugged the c2 connector to see if this is where the feedback was comming from and the sound did not go away.....Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello all, I have finished my Nav install just went with the non lux unit...plugged right in just had to wire the Vss wire and it is working great but Im hearing a buzzing sound thru my speakers when the truck revs....like a bad ground or something. No buzzing with the old 6 disc changer but with the Nav it makes the sound. Any ideas please? Thanks Shane.
