    hope you like humidity, fire ants and tornados. low pay, and ugly women.

    i have a good friend in sparks oklahoma that puts on one bitching motorcycle rally though.

    best rally in the world, even sturgis, all on private property so anything goes. lots of nudity, etc.

     

     

    I live about 20 miles from Sparks now, but I grew up about 5 miles from there. That rally is pretty cool if Johnny Law stays away. This year it was so bad there are about 20 lawsuits against the local police! :confused:

     

    On another note though, there is no cheaper place to live than OK. I bought my 3 bedroom 1 bath house for 26,000! I spent about 10K in remodels and it is now worth 85K! Cost of living is great here, but Edmond is without a doubt THE ritziest town in OK. I just worked on a house 2 days ago with over 100K in crown moulding!!! Hope you have some cash put back. If you are in the oilfield industry, I have lots of friends who work in it too, as a matter of fact, one of the most productive well services in OK is right here in town and 2 of my buddies are foremen. Starting pay is about 14 bucks an hour with no experience.

     

    I've been an Okie all my life and wouldn't have it any other way!

     

    P.S. Mr. P is right about the car alarm thing, OKC FUQIN SUCKS for thieves, especially if you live on the south side (Edmond is north though!)

    I figured for sure Mr. P or Zippy would have the inside scoop on the

    new stuff. I am looking to put on exhaust, intake and a custom tune but

    I haven't seen any news around about the new engine.

    Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated!!

    As in my previous post, I just purchased the new body style V-MAX.

    I was wondering what kind, if any, differences there are in the engines

    from the 2006 SS I had, other than more hp and torque.

    This one obviously has the Active Fuel Management, does that affect any

    performance upgrades? I can tell a noticeable difference in the way it accelerates

    from my SS. Just looking for some advice, and no better place to start than here! :thumbs:

    :icon_bs: I saw that exact same e-mail going around about 6 or 7 years ago, same wording and everything.

    There was also one during the same time about Kentucky Fried Chicken having to change their name to KFC, because technically, the genetically engineered "meat" they served wasn't actually chicken, it was grown in a lab or something another. :rolleyes:

    Some of it sounds like Carlin, but the "God on my money" comment is obviously not.

    George Carlin has taken a lifelong stand against religions of all sorts, and

    makes no bones about telling everyone. I do however agree with most those comments.

    I am pretty down the middle with Carlin, he has some very valid points and some

    just plain off the wall.

    Sorry, but I would have probably got out with my pistol!

    I am from the old school too, if someone I don't know

    pulls up behind me and just waits for me to get out, I am

    very defensive. I have a family and a lot of nice things to

    protect.

     

    I guarantee most of my friends would have got out swingin!

    In this day and age, it's just the way you have to be.

    Call me narcissistic, but I'd rather offend some well intentioned

    truck enthusiast, than the alternative of having my head blown off

    by some punk trying to jack me up.

    Good rant and yes im half hispanic. But if I had to choose which country id definitely choose the USA. Just because its been so good to me, so I am not putting white people down or w\e. I'm just saying IMHO from my short life ive experienced a lot of racism... and its ALL been from white people. I don't know any other race who is as openly racist. Im not saying all white people are racist. Infact my best friends are white, american and one german. We openly harass each other with typical slurs... [nazi, beaner, cracka] but we still get along and just joke around. I got maced by a ****ing officer who was obviously racist because I made a sudden move. Is everyone that scared of minorities? And yes he was white. When his commanding officer showed up to the scene. He arrested my dad for public intoxication, although he was inside the house... I didn't know it was illegal to be drunk inside the safety of your own home? Another one... my ex gfs mom thought i wasnt good enough for her daughter... she was white... I am 18 years old, I drive a 45 thousand dollar truck, I dress clean, 100$ shirts sometimes. I dont even look all that mexican. I have a job and a loving family. And im still not good enough. SHIT I DRIVE A BETTER CAR THAN HER PARENTS DO. But nope. Even through all that you would think I would hate white people. But no I don't because I don't and I refuse to believe all white people are like this. I am smarter than those nazi, KKK, black panther w\e ignorant bigots and I hate being judged by the color of my skin or the language I speak. Sorry If I might have offended you or made you mad NTMID8R SS, but I was speaking strictly from personal experience.     I can relate to the racism you have experienced, but in a different in a way. I, like yourself, don't look like a typical NDN. I am pretty much white, but I get shit from both sides, about the other side.

    But, I get most my bullshit from people because I am heavily tattooed and listen to heavy metal. I know it can't be compared to ethnic racism, but it is certainly the same feeling. I can't believe this day and age, with 1 in 3 people having a tattoo, that people look upon it so negatively. Even from people who have a couple.

     

    As far as white people being the most openly racist, I have to disagree. Do you hear them calling black people niggers out in public, calling Mexicans beaners and wetbacks right in front of people, or referring to Asians as slopes and gooks to their faces? No. But I sure see people being called honky and cracker and peckerwood right on TV and any rap album I've ever heard, now that is openly racist. Hell, Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do it in almost every speech, in one way or the other.

     

    Culturally, our society has not progressed enough to overcome the social barriers that are raised by the influx of so many different people. This and other things are what the architects of our country did not, and could not, foresee, so we are left to make the best of what we have. I know there are still people out there who think like barbarians, but we have to let them have their say, that's OUR way, like it or not.

     

     

    I'm sorry as well, that I responded so harshly about this, but after you hear the same tired old rhetoric over and over, it gets on my head. All people really need to do is be informed. F*CK FOX news, CNN and most all other typical media outlets, they just regurgitate the same shit over and over. Use the internet and god fobid, read a book or two, and most people will be able to rise above the assholes that get them down, and return a good arguement to boot. There are good people out there, in all cultures.

    So what your saying that ALL the hundreds of thousands of Hispanic people who protested a few months back are all in FACT illegals? I highly doubt that sir. I say a small percent of them where if any. I'm sure they know that its probably not in their best interest to be out in public demanding rights in a country they have no legality in. But yes you bring up a good point.

     

    All the groups you just named are equally as retarded and full of hate. They are a bunch of uneducated bunch of hate mongers. Also they probably where raised the same way, with racists parents or ancestors that tought them to hate. IMO anyone who hates a whole race for stereotypical reasons is a huge idiot. Every race has their good and their bad. EVERY RACE! No race is perfect. No race is close to it. But in all fairness to the other groups. "Whitey" started it. :confused:

     

     

    So, it was whitey that started EVERYTHING with EVERYBODY and now anyone of any minority has the full right to do or say anything they want with no repercussions, including threatening our very existence. I beg to differ, SIR! Why don't you ask the relatives of anyone (regardless of their ethnicity) who shed their blood for the advancement of this country, who started "it", whatever "it" is? Is "it" Racism? Genocide? Oppression? I'm no history major, but I believe people of all colors have been oppressing, ruling and murdering other factions of people they didn't like for...I don't know, say 4000 years. Last time I checked, this country was roughly, only 400 years old. Didn't the Spanish conquistadors rob and pillage what is modern day Central and North America somewhere around the 1500's? Remind me again, how white were they? I believe that Mohammed was pretty adept at genocide himself a few thousand years ago, isn't he a prophet now? Tell me again, what color was his skin? Pol Pot murdered and savaged an estimated 1.5 million people just because he considered them "bourgeois", THAT WAS IN THE 1960's and '70's. What was his skin tone? Hell, what about Saddam Hussein, he'd been slaughtering ethnic Kurds and Shiite's for damn near a half century. I bet his ancestors didn't have white skin either.

     

    So don't bring me this, "whitey started it" BS. The people who are considered minorities in this country today have, historically, been the inventors/purveyors of oppression, genocide and murder. What people don't seem to realize is that the very nature of this country is immigration from somewhere else, that means they came here with all their baggage and now that baggage is what we are left with. The American Indians didn't invent all this nonsense, it was brought here by other cultures!

     

    Also, by their own admission, yes, a vast majority of those protesters were illegal. They have nothing to fear, as they said, "they can't get us all". Was the military going to pull up with buses and tanks to herd everyone back across the border? Hardly.

    Can we help it if this country is majority white? I didn't get a choice of what country to live in when I was born, did you? Most of the people who immigrate to this country, legally or illegally, know what this country is, predominantly white; yet they are beating down the doors to get here. Any clue as to why? Because this country is the land of opportunity, the place to make a life and retreat from the madness that is, most of their own countries. If things were so damn good at home, why did they leave in the first place? All we ask is that you play by the rules. Get a green card, pay your taxes and enjoy this place like so many millions before them have.

     

    Fact of the matter is, you don't have to live in this country if you don't want to, there are other places to live, let's see.... how about Afghanistan or Iran or North Korea or any other country led by some crack pot dictator, where this mere conversation could get you killed. Check on their immigration policies.People need to buck up and realize this is, without a doubt, the best place on earth to live and we aren't perfect, but we are evolving. :flag:

    This whole group of individuals are by far one of the most ignorant and useless people still roaming this planet. To do some of the stupid crap that they have been doing for years and thinking they are so cool and right just blows my mind.

     

    Take them to a small island and drop a bomb in the middle...that is my idea of resolution and population control for groups like the KKK.

     

     

    First off, I'm not advocating anyones' beliefs, but what about the black panthers, the sons of islam, la migra, MAYA (muslim arab youth authority)and all the minority race haters?

     

    These groups are here on our soil preaching hate just the same (and worse), but do you ever hear about that on the news? What about all the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants who were protesting in the streets, burning flags, talking about "taking their country back" from the white man, killing if necessary?

     

    I'm no racist, bigot, hate monger or whatever the lingo of the day is, but it just seems that the KKK or skinheads are all that plays out in the press, making it look as if white people are the only people who hate. This disgusts me the most because it is alright, cool even, to bag on "whitey" and no one says anything at all.

    Building a house in the country, down about 5 miles of dirt roads for one.

    Also, my sons and I have been riding dirt bikes/ATV's and they now want

    to start racing, so I will need something designed to pull a trailer/toy box

    a little better. It hurts me, but sometimes sacrifice is the best alternative to

    ruining a nice truck!
