Yeah I think we can work something out splitting the brackets and bumper as above. That kind of worked out for both of you, I wouldn't have split the brackets otherwise. Busy as hell today, will look at shipping and get back ASAP.

I have for sale an OEM '06 / '07 Classic grill shell as well as an OEM SS Bumper Cover for '03 - '07 Classics. Both pieces are painted Onyx Black. Prefer pickup, I'm in Frederick MD, but we may be able to work out shipping if buyer is willing to pay.
'06 / '07 Classic SS Grill Shell - $275 + Shipping or Local Pickup
Perfect condition, only on the truck for a bit over a year. Purchased new from GM direct. This was originally posted as a cash + part swap, but I've got a normal grill since then so it's a straight up sale at this time. Part is off the truck and ready to go..
SS Bumper Cover, no Vents, with the four IMPORTANT brackets - $300
BUMPER AND BRACKETS SOLD!!
Was just painted a little over a year ago with PPG Global Base / Clear from a very reputable shop, but has suffered some rock chips as expected. Also some flaking in the grooved area above the vents. The pictures make the chipping look MUCH worse than it is due to the flash. Vents are gone unfortunately but I am including the center grill, as shown, and $150 in brackets. These are the most important brackets you need to mount it up and keep it from flopping around, also purchased new from GM direct. Previously local pickup only, but as stated above I'm willing to ship it if buyer covers the cost. Which will be between $40 - $80 if shipped via Grayhound PackageXpress.

$600 + Trade.. Really hate to have to trade these with the truck. You can't beat this deal. I'll take Paypal if you want to use credit.
-
still wish there was a way i could get that hood. hate how ya gotta get rid of your ride, it looks pretty sick
Believe me, I hate to get rid of it in the worst way. Don't really have a choice though at the moment. Hood is spoken for. Grill will be for sale without trade soon. Guy who is buying the hood is going to give me his '04 grill straight up as part of the deal with no trade.
Price on wheels lowered to $800 obo plus trade
-
Can work on the price.. Hate to trade the truck in with these still on it. Shoot me some reasonable offers.
-
damn why do you have to be so far i want that hood!
Funny you should say that

Ok, I've listed all of this before.. Well minus the grill shell.. and haven't receieved much response. In any case, I'm getting rid of the truck next week and this stuff has got to go by this weekend. All painted pieces are Onyx Black. Going to be pickup only I think due to reasons listed below, I'm located in Frederick MD...

'06 / '07 Reflexxions Double Cowl Hood - $300 and you OEM hood
SOLD!!!
Also a little over a year old. Painted Onyx Black in PPG Global Base / Clear by the same body shop as the SS cover. Paint is flawless except for some rock chips on the very nose ('06 hoods have that big flat spot right in front, not the best design) Needs to be a direct swap with another Onyx Black hood. Condition of your swapped hood need not be perfect
Again.. Truck is gone after this weekend so need some offers ASAP.
Thanks,
Matt

Have some 22" KMY Clydes for sale with Nitto 420S in the 305-40-22 variety. Getting rid of the truck next week and would hate to see those go with it to the dealer. Wheels are in pretty much perfect condition, no scrapes on rash of any kind and they have been regularly polished. About two years old. Tires have a ton of wear left, used about 35 - 40% of useable tread. ONE of the fronts has some extended inner wear due to an alignment issue but other than that they are copasetic.
I'm looking for $800 OBO plus I'll need a set, any set, of 17" or larger wheels with tires in trade. OEM, aftermarket, I don't care. They have to be 17" or larger though due to the big brakes on my '06. Due to the fact this is a swap, this will have to be local pickup. Come over and we'll swap them one for one. Or if you have a loose set of wheels I'll take mine off and put the replacements on.
Swap has to be done by this weekend, or probably Monday at the latest. I'm in Frederick MD. Any takers?

Bump - Will go $400, but I lost a brake duct
-
Bump.. Cant believe nobody wants the SS front. These things usually sell quick.
-
Everything but the SS Bumper and Hood have been sold. Also, to answer the above question, I'm not willing to part out the Bumper.
Going to have to apologise to everyone that was interested in the suspension parts. Shipping on them was rediculous and wouldn't have been too beneficial to anyway after that. Squadfiredog met up with me today and picked them up local-ish.
-
Are the suspention parts still up for grabs? I am very intrested if they are.......
PM Inbound...

Ah 6 weeks when i joined, and your a engine mechanic just so you know. Your going to have a good selection of bases you can go to. Jet engine mechanics have a pretty good job compared to some of the other flight line guys. Just remember if you can score a job working in the hush house youll enjoy it. Engine backshop doesnt seem like to bad of a job either. Flight line engines is not bad but diffently the longest hours out of the three. Your pay is going to suck while in basic but if you were to get stationed overseas right after tech school you enjoy your pay alot ;)
Yeah, that's what I wanted to do and requested - jet engine mechanics aka. Aerospace Propulsion. I'm not too familiar with the sub-sections you mentioned, but will definately keep that in mind - thanks. I'm not going to be at all dependant on pay while in basic. Going to have money in the bank going in to cover 3 or 4 months of truck payments and insurance, plus a storage unit for my many household items. I'm actually not opposed to going to Afghan or Iraq at this point, especially because I know how much money will be waiting in my bank account when I get back In any case, I'm not going in for the money though, I just left a six-figure job to enlist.
How was basic for you and what did you end up doing when you got out?
Airforce boot camp is only 6.5 weeks. Navy is 8 weeks if you count processing daysBy the time I actually enter BMT, it'll be back to 8.5 weeks. There is a 6 - 8 month wait to enter at this time so I won't ship until Nov - Jan. Getting close to the deadline, I'm 27 and have to be in basic by the day of my 28th birthday which is April 30, 2009.

How much for the drop leaf springs to 79761?
Will get you a quote next week once they are off the truck.
any pics of the truck with the drop? I was also wondering if the drop leafs required you to use any shims?I've posted a few overall truck pic threads - do a search by my username. I'd find for ya but am in a big hurry right now.
Edit: Forgot part two of your question - They do not require shims, Belltech engineered the pinion angle correction into the leafs.
Sent ya a Pm about the leafs, but disregard it, let one of the other 2 get them since shipping is going to kill the deal for me.Responded
why you putting it all back to stock because of the air force. Hell there are a couple of us in the airforce here...If you dont mind me asking how long is basic now days and what job you got?
Want to pay off a few things before I go in. Probably end up bagging it when I get out.
Don't mind you asking at all. BMT is still 6.5 weeks right now until, I think, November - then it's 8.5 weeks. I'm going in as a Aerospace Propulsion Apprentice.
damn....I would take the bumper and spindles if you were local.......Isn't that always how it works?

SS Bumper Cover, and Reflexxions Hood pics are now POSTED below
Rollpan / Leafs / Spindels / Hitch all SOLD
Getting ready to go into the USAF and am putting the truck pretty much back to stock. Have a bunch of stuff up for grabs. All parts are off my Oynx black 2006 Silvy. Note all prices are plus the PayPal fee and plus shipping unless you are picking the part up and paying cash. I live in Frederick, MD. I'll post pics as I get stuff removed.
SS Bumper Cover painted Onyx black about a year ago using PPG Global base / clear. Including vents, black center grill, and the four *important* OEM brackets. Paint is pretty much perfect but it started peeling in the groove near the vents for some reason. $500. Pickup only, unless you can workout a way to ship it and want to pay the cost.
I also have the Reflexxions double cowl hood for '06 and '07 Classic trucks. Painted Oynx black with PPG Global base / clear. One year old, perfect condition other than a few rock chips at the very front. Would need an OEM '06 - '07 Classic hood painted Onyx black in near perfect or perfect condition plus $400 for this piece. Hood is $600 new plus shipping, plus paint. Pickup only.
OEM Hitch Receiver. Never used, removed the week I bought the truck. $50 plus shipping. SOLD!
Belltech 3" Drop Leafs (PN 5952) including Belltech Bumpstops - 20k miles on them. $200 plus shipping for the pair.SOLD!
Belltech 2" Drop Spindels (PN 2508 - 17"+ Wheels ONLY) - 15k miles on them. $175 plus shipping for the pair.SOLD!
Custom Classic Roll Pan, center plate. BRAND NEW, unpainted, in original package - I got the last one ever made. $130 shipped. SOLD!!

Doesn't matter - Fed law trumps State law. Even the medical users can still get busted by the feds.

Some cool pics in there. Would be interesting to see a Turbo-4 version down the road..

The only aftermarket wires I'll rock are Magnecor. Never had an issue with them which is more than I can say about MSD. Definately more expensive, $110 for the 8.5mm, but worth it IMO.
Part #80241 (8mm) or #87241 (7mm) or #85241 (8.5mm) for 99-06 5.3s and 6.0s:
8mm

Note: These are BLUE wires (someone above was looking for blue I think)
8.5mm Competition

Note: These are RED
Edit: added link for the 8.5s

stock coils are more that enough its thed stock wires that suck, they have too much resistance, 800+ ohms. so some msd or taylor wires will be good they has 40 ohms per foot
Holy sheeeite! 800+ Ohms?! I normally don't swap plug wires as, in my experience, OEM do the trick 99% of the time and are more reliable than after market but.. definately time to upgrade.
Edit: Off searching for Magnacores.

1923.. Good year

jk
But seriously. It is cool to have something that old, setting aside the sentimental value. Just think of all the hands it's been through, places it's been...
-
Yeah, and the Joe Gibbs Edtn. was supposed to be Supercharged also..
-
Seriously, I can't even imagine 1) Why the hauler would use boards with a car like that and, 2) Why the owner would effing let him!?
-
do i need to purchase anything for correcting the driveshaft angles?
Negative, sir. The Belltech leafs are engineered to provide the correct pinion angle out of the box.

woah that red interior screams 80's
Was thinking the same thing
Damn GM and thier Red and Blue interiors
