mr. p you're like a mentor to a young child, in a sense. I looked on Ebay, and found a black 03 for a but-it now price of 21,995. I could probably steal it from him for about 20,500. I already talked to my trusty lender, and they are seeing what they can do for me. As soon as they know what will happen, i'll be going to get me a truck if it looks ok. Low miles too 55,475. I will have a grand prix gtp for sell as well. Otherwise, the used car lot gets it back. I'd be happier with a truck anyway. Let you know what happens

i lookde in autotrader and couldn't find anything pertaining to the ss. Only 1500's. Not one of them said ss

i can't find any usde in my area though. Hell, if i could, i would much rather have a used one, even if i had to drive a couple of hours to get it. know what i mean. Is there any way to do a search for used ss's in my area?

the only thing about buying used is i don't have the cash. I have to go thruough a finance company, and trade my car in, or i will lose even more on it. any advice on that

Well, here's my story. I am 21. I used to have an 02' model 1500 with the 4.8. No, it wasn't a dog, but it definately wasn't an SS. I now have a decently quick GTP. Probaby take a stock ss as it will run about a 14.5 in the quarter. I am a truck guy at heart. My last one was stolen. It did have the ss 20's on it, and looked damn good too. I have just always wanted one, and if the price is right, it hink i will go ahead and have one.I will miss the gas saver gtp, but i have wanted the truck so long, and went and sat in one the other day, FELL IN LOVE. I drove one about a year ago, and loved it then too. It would be my first NEW car too. Hope all goes well, and hope to join the family soon. I have a few questions though. Are they expensive to mod, and do they take to mods well? Do have have to invest a fortune to just drop one second? Or does a little go a long way? Thanks for the info in advance.
