sup guys i know this is an sss forum but i have a question that maby some one can answer. i just got an 2007 suburban LTX with the dvd navi. my question is this; is it possible to make the dvd movie play on the front monitor while in drive? works when in park but when i am driving it will not let me. i know it is programed in the computer of the truck to do that but im wondering if this can be changed in any way or is there an adaptor i can install that will allow it to continue playing the on the front screen while in drive. if anyone has any info on this i would be very pleased to hear back from ya... thanks

i got an 2006 sss and it comes with 3.5inch exhaust pipes ... according to the specs. but i dont know if that is true for later model sss

honestly i dont think the brand makes a diff.. what makes a difference is the station you fill up at. if they dont up keep there tanks the gas will become contaminated with alge there for cloging your injectors. this is my opinion and an opinion is like an ass... every ones got one. hehe laters

god i hate it when dealers see an after market part and asume it is the cause of the problem.. so ignorant of them... if you live in south florida take your trucks to blake chevrolet/caddy they are located on us1 and 304st. great service they have awsome mechanics who will work around your aftermarket parts and find the real cause of your issue. they also get your truck in and out in the same day ( i have a fleet account with chevy so i dont know if this holds true for everyone). best thing about them is that they pick up my vehicles and bring them back when the service is completed. hope this helps you sould fla gm owners

sup guys since i got rid of my m3 and got a ss i have no where to put my jl's so im selling them for 400.00. the subs are like 6 months old 2 of wich they have been sitting in my office. they were being powered by a jl 1000watt amp and they are in exelent condition.. no tears or rips.. no even scraches. the box has a few scraches due to the moving it around in my office. also the box is wraped in imitation carbenfiber vinel. so let me know if anyone of you are intrested. dont know how much shipping is but we can work something out. ill post some pics later on when i get some time.

I have a Pioneer AVIC-D1 running the factory speakers and Amp to those, along with 2 JL 10w1's and a V12 Alpine amp. I can't say what adaptors were used but I can try to find out as I had it installed by a shop. I'll first try to read the receipt (wish me luck) to see if it says. I have already had the place I got it installed check it out once and they looked at all the connections, but it's something to check out again. Thanks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well it could also be engine noise.. try a noise filter it may solve the issue. i have had similar problems with engine noise on my stang. also check the voltage at the amp if its under 13v then you need a cap or a more powerful alternator. oh and one more thing make sure that the company that wired your system didnt cut corners by using the factory speaker wireing cuz this can cause problems if the truck had a separate factory amp. well hope you can find the problem.. laterz

whats up guys i just got a 06 ss 2months back and im planing on doing a few mods to it. but what im guessing is wich mod would give me the performance for my first mod. cobra jet ram air kit , magnaflow kit, or should i do a custome pcm tune? just wondering what yall would do.. thanks
