most all shorty and mid length headers are 1-5/8" and the long tubes are 1-3/4" or 1-7/8"...

 

so to answer your ? i'd get 1-3/4"....1-7/8" would be great if you were running big cubes or F/I

Again, without you guys and your support I wouldn't make it through, so enough sympathy, I'm strong and determined, many asked next step, well, I'm feelin an 06 Silver Birch this time. One thats modded already, and of course credit would go to them always for mods and speed. Once the $ situation is straight with insurance and I have saved a little, #3 SS here I come, these trucks are just me and thats that. I love em and always want to drive one so I'm not gonna be set back by this situation, of course open to all years and colors btw, thanks again to all for your replys and support!

agreed. i'm sure as the latest security systems hit the market thieves are finding and developing new ways to defeat them. and i'm starting to become suspicious that thieves maybe signing up to the site to check out locations of where to look for the trucks...i noticed when aaron's truck (bad ass silvy) was stolen i read back at a few of his topics and he'd post physical addresses of places he's seen another person's SSS or like one of his past topics where he got his haircut and his truck was keyed...i think thieves are keying into this and know where to find your truck. i could be wrong but that's what i'm thinking.
