Hey guys, I remember reading about a get together that was started from another site, and it said something about inviting SSS.com members. It was for the DFW area, and I believe for early summer time frame, but I cant find it. Anyone have any idea what I am rambling about? I am interested in making that meet. Have relatives in that area, and could kill 2 birds. Thanks

Quick question... How long are you an "SS Newbie"? When do you become an "SS Member", etc. I'm not in a hurry, just curious. When you're my age, it's hard to consider yourself a newbie at anything!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but 25 posts gets you off the newbie list, atleast it did for me. I dont post a lot, but do a hell of alot of reading. I dont think I done this much reading in all the years I went to school....Only reason I say 25 is after a post yesterday, I noticed I had change to member

I am not sure what my plans are yet. More than likely lower it a bit. Some exhaust, some minor mods. I would love to meet up with some other HR guys. Just let me know where you all meet up.
That would be cool....I have talked to Brewz a couple times on the phone, but yet to meet in person. We got on the Cowl Hood GP and had them shipped to a buddy of mines shop, but did'nt get a chance to meet. If you guys want to get together, let me know.

I have dual super 40's and they exit in front of passenger side tire. I am very happy with the sound, and they did get louder as time went on. When I jump in it from about a 30mph roll, sounds really aggressive. I am guessing the difference may be that I have duals. As you said, maybe after a bit of break in you will like better. As for drone, I dont really notice, but I like it loud. I have also been thinking of removing the 90's and just dumping under the truck, just have'nt decided for sure. Be careful with those. There are some quick Dodge diesel trucks around. You wouldn't think so, you know, with them sounding like a garbage truck and all, but they can surprise you.
It seems that a lot folks who buy those diesels put several thousand more dollars into them to make them more powerful. Stock for stock, you'll take them, but with the common mods, they will give you some trouble.
I am going to get a supercharger someday. Then only a handful of them will be able to keep up

Diesels in general now days. A buddy of mine has an 03 D-Max, 6" lift and 3" body rollin on 37's. Has exhaust, Edge w/Att, Intake, aftermarket turbo, and can light up all 4 and git r done. Gotta watch the diesels
