  1. Rick from Trick Turbos here in my town does those kits for the Fords.. We discussed doing it for my truck but never did. I forgot what the draw back was to doing that. I'm thinking it was to get it to work you needed to run your A/C on full blast the whole time..Something like that..I just saw it as something else that could go wrong and never did it.
  2. I live in Texas and nothing worked for reducing the IAT's that heat pump put out. I tried Meth, Larger Exchangers, Chiller Boxes..you name it we tried it so I ultimately just added nitrous to make up for all the horse power I was losing due the timing being retarded because of the iAT's. On a 90 degree day here which is the norm I'd see 170 degree plus IAT's just on the drive to the track. I ultimately just gave up trying.
  3. Looking good Danny!,,,Awesome talking to you today..always good to catch up with friends
  4. the left idler pulley should be able to loosen and move up and down a rail...be careful because it is under tension and might fly up..but if your tensioner is stuck i'm not sure about other options
  5. sure..i'm trying to rememebr the set up from memory since i no longer have my truck...i'll message you my number
  6. you might be able to untightend the radix tensioner and take pully off and it might give you just enough to get belt off
  7. man i dunno..i never had any issues like that before...i dunno if a tensioner can lock up
  8. i guess i'm confused..the tensioner should be free to "bounce or move" up and down with the belt...if you are talking about the radix tensioner that moves up and down a little "Rail" that wont slied up unless you take the tension off the belt
  9. what i did was get a socket and a screw driver..when i pushed the tensioner down you will see a little hole you stick the screw driver in..this allwoedme to leave the bealt loose and have both hands to change it
  10. did you not put a socket on nut holding tensioner and push the tensioner down?
  11. coming along nicely Danny!..It was good talking to you last week
  12. I'd be careful changing to black and gray since the rest is it may look like a black and gray blob and not clear what the image if your not careful..I'd change colors to another color if oyur not feeling the current ones...IMO
  13. I am speaking Camaro SS..I have driven 2 of them and both felt like i was flooring a Honda
  14. camaros just don't have enough "balls" for me either...I put my foot in the floor and it doesn't even suck you into the seat
  15. damn..sorry man...nothing pissesme off faster than thieves..sucks but i feel the only really good alarm system is a closed garage. damn..sorry man...nothing pissesme off faster than thieves..sucks but i feel the only really good alarm system is a closed garage.

  17. the dallas turnouts where generally pretty good how ever we never limited it to just this site...we just made it a truck GTG and not a SS get together
  18. Unfortunatley Virgil seems to be in the middle of disputes like this all the time...I know him and he has always been good to me but my friends have had bad experiences....hope you get it worked out.
  19. As a memeber who recenty sold his truck I will chime in.....I had lots of great times and met awesome poeple with the truck so do i miss it in that respect? sure...but honestly i don't regret it..it was time..i just didn't enjoy driving it any more.
