    I wouldn't trade a fully loaded escalade for a used silverado. Not that they are bad trucks, (i have one :D ) but your suv is worth more than a truck. But if you are looking for speed you will get more from the SS.

    Ok guys...remember when I rammed into the damn curb early in dec....and I had to send my wheel to get replaced...Here is the f**cken update...On dec 4th I hit the curb...took 2 weeks to get the RA# from the company which I purchased the wheels from...took 5 days to get shipped to them...they received the wheel on dec 26th...Its now jan 18th and they still havent received the replacement wheel from giovanna...I keep calling and they keep giving me this bullshit excuse EVERY time saying that there is a delay in the shipment...dammit I just want my damn wheel back...im rollin' on the damn stock's right now... :mad:

    Hey, figured id post this i took this video driving down the road the a week ago. Only one lane was open as you can tell. I also took this pic on the road in front of my house the other day...yes its a road you just cant see the asphalt due to all the packed down snow.  SNOW

    Were in that time of year where its only daylight for so many hrs a day right now so its prolly going down

     

    I see a mailbox there...who in their right state of mind would want to be a mailman under these conditions... :ughdance:

    so as some of you may or not know, i ran over a LARGE median divider leaving my buddies house after the national championship game. (no i wasnt drinking, just bad driving)  anyways, immediately i get two flats on my driver side.  :banghead:  got the truck towed to the house and dealt with it yesterday. 

     

    firstly went out to my trusty 88 honda that i havent ran in about two months and nothing.  deader than chit.  so my wife's got the honda at her work up in redwood city and im stuck at home.  call my buddy at enterprise rental car and see if he's got anything to rent me.  an hour later he shows up at my house in an 07 nissan titan.  :crackup:  im already thinking this is too funny.  (mind you my friend is not a car guy and has no idea why im laughing when he picks me up) 

     

    back to the ss.  pull off the wheels and  :mad: both are bent.  tires might be okay ill wait and see.  drive the titan over to union city and drop the wheels off at this place to repair.  have to send them to l.a.  yuck gonna take about a week.  so now i really need to find 2 wheels.  as i mentioned in a post from yesterday that a friend has a set of escalade wheels to sell me but he wants 500 for them.  no thanks.  head over to santa clara truck wreckers and manage to buy a set of 4 stock chevy 16X7 wheels i think with pretty much no tread left on any of them for 200 bucks.  fine i said.

     

    so now im rocking real ghetto style with two janky wheels in the rear along with two nice ones in the front.  im gonna post pics today when i go home as i forgot my memory card at the house. 

     

    the end of the story?  of course not.  so the Nissan Titan.

     

    well my opinion has changed and then changed back i guess.

     

    -  very nice ride for a 4X4

    -  pretty smooth drivetrain.  (five speed auto is pretty cool)

    -  really ugly imo both inside and outside (mine was forest green  :puke: )

    -  interior is chincy at best

    -  overall = good power and ugly truck

     

    so no i wouldnt buy one but is it a viable alternative, who knows.

     

    ill be posting some side by side picks today of both trucks sitting in my driveway.  lol.  sorry for the long post but had to get it all down before my brain frys for the day.

     

    trying to pull of dub move...i hit the curb too... :flag:

    i thought you said your dad paid for the truck and your mom paid for the rims in this thread busted

    It's posts like this why most here don't like you. Your maturity level is much lower than it should be, regardless of your age. If you really want "help" with your "problem", start earning more people's respect, then maybe someone would take you seriously and lend the help you think you "need".

    It seems that everything I do is wrong...Does that mean Im f**ked up in the head? I dont know what to do nomore my whole life is taking a turn to the southside..all because of my addiction to $$$$$...is this bad? do I need a psychiatrist? or do I just need to get more beer?

    I am pissed at my dad right now and I think yall would be too if your dad did this. My dad needed the SS because he was about 8,000 dollars short of the car he is about to buy, a 2007 Porsche 911 GT3. He need about $110,000. I can understand him though, 420 hp, 0-60 in 4 seconds. Top Speed: is around 193-195! He couldn't get 8K for the 944 so he tried to trick me. I am glad I didn't take the offer! My mom is telling me to forgive him but I am still mad! Thanks for the advice!!!!! :)
