  1. We got about a foot a month ago then it froze and was around for a week (ice). No weight no problems, I just left the traction control on and took it easy on the throttle! Although it took me about 3 times backing up the driveway sideways to finally get it in the garage.
  2. Hey there, I was wondering where you guys would suggest getting a passenger side (or both if I have to buy a set) front bumper vent? I think I broke it parking it against a snow bank but I'm honestly not sure exactly how it broke, but I am lucky that only the vent assembly was damaged. Thank you for your time! Mike
  3. nice!! she didnt want to go back to the right hu?
  4. I just got a Hardrock a couple of months ago! I was excited to ride (get so exercise) my girlfriend and I went for about 4 rides and its been hanging in the garage ever sense! I love how the bike rides etc but that was $550 that I look back at now that could have been spent on the truck!
  5. AWD isn’t an option for the year 2006. I drove mine off the lot with every option possible for 35K.
  6. I installed the intake friday night, the installation was extremely easy I didnt have to read the instructions (but did to be on the safe side) it only took about 20 min... As far as performance there is a big difference in throttle response but no noticeable hp gain. I would definitely recommend outlaws product!
  7. you could just sell me your wheels for 600$ to pay the fine!
  8. i think some states are a little diffrent but all of my tickets were when i lived in the bay.. chp etc.
  9. i have had several speeding tickets and everyone that i have tried to fight the cop showed up, i hear they get paid extra to show.. if the cop shows (with your past driving record) there is no way in hell you will get off, just like me! i know its b/s but radar or no radar the cops always right.. it just depends on your "luck" and if you mind taking off work two different days to fight it..
  10. I love the site, my girlfriend often calls me a geek because of the amount of time I spend on here.... Thanks to EVERYONE!
  11. And they also told me that when cleaning time comes to use the K&N solvent/oil.
  12. I got my intake ordered today and they asked if I wanted the tuning chamber or not. Of coarse my reply was whats the difference? here was his response. "Hi Mike, The curvy thingy in the pic is the tuning chamber. When you have elect fans the fan shroud is much smaller and the chamber kind of looks funny hanging out in the air. The tuning chamber adds about 2 ft lbs of torque around 3500 rpm. You'd never notice 2 ft lbs." I ordered the one with because the whole reason of me getting this intake was for performance. I guess the tuning chamber delete is new option from Outlaw. Thoughts?
  13. i have been shopping different exhaust options and today i got a magnaflow duel in/ single out dumped under the truck installed out the door for $260. sounds great! low rumble at idle and rips when im on the gas. i defiantly would recommend magnaflow!
  14. keep your head up man it sounds like you are really trying to nip this thing in the ass.. lifes full of hurdles some are just bigger jumps than others i dont know if there is much i personally can do to help you but if there is something just shoot me a pm. mike
  15. That was another issue with the location of the cross member, it is prety close to the muffler so I couldnt replace the muffler and have enough room to come out in front of the tire...
  16. I’m not much of a fan of exhaust tips hanging out, I would really prefer to have dumps but I guess the smog people won’t crawl under my truck when that time comes.
  17. I have been shopping different exhaust options an after a local muffler shop told me $420 weld on a magnaflow duel in single out ran out of the existing location I think I might just get a cat back.. What do you guys think, note the "2WD” I think my cross member is in a different location than the AWD isnt it? Thanks! 6.0L V-8, EC/SB, Silverado SS AWD, rear side exit, 2.5"/3" SS tubing, 4" rolled/p-SS tip
  18. Personal preference I would prefer my truck over any toyota supra, don’t get me wrong though they are very fast! They couldn’t have been seriously racing those two.?
  19. this winter will be interesting going from a awd subie to a 2wd SS!
