  2. I have a FconS by HKS for sale. Not sure what all it fits on but I know its a universal kit. First $700 takes it. This is a mildly used product I had in my civic and took it out due to a motor swap. But its doing me no good sitting in my garage. Hit me up if your intrested. They go for $1600 retail but like I said its not doing me any good sitting around.

The car injectors will work but they are not a direct replacement, you need to change the wiring harness to the injectors from the truck style to the car style. you also need to add spacer to the fuel rails, the car injectors are longer.  There is a how-to in the how-to section that helps alot.  Alot of people have done it and have had no problems.  the biggest truck style injector is the 8.1l marine 42# injectors, these are a direct swap, you just have to tune the truck for them.

  4. I have the same problem on my driver side pnl. Its rubbed the panel so the paint is gone. BUT for some reason I guess becouse of the winds and solorrays and the angle of the UV and lake effect in florida it does it every now and then. Really odd? But untill it becomes a big issue im not going to worrie about it seeing how it doesnt do it that offen. Now that I said that im going to walk out to my truck and its going to be laying on the ground.

  5. Im with you on that one, about the Hondas.  I had a 12.9 second turbo Civic, a 13.3 second all motor Honda CRX, and a 11.7 @ 132mph turbo 97' Eclipse.  I need to make this the fastest vehicle I have ever owned.

     

    As far as budget, there is none really.  Of course, I would like to keep it under $20K if possible, but who knows what will happen.

     

    Also, turbo is not out of the question either.  Plus, I can easily run lower boost on the street, and crank it up at the track with race gas.  I just need the guy/shop to do it.  I can go on and on about different setups, but I -need- someone to do this.  I want to hand the guy the cash, and he build my motor and do this.  Like some kind of Jesse James guy of trucks.. lol.  I just want to watch and learn....

     

    Well Ive built tons of 350's and billions of honda motors. So I would be more than happy to give you a hand and build the motor for everything you need. In addition your in luck seeing how I own KC Motorsports so the combination of me and my top mechanics can work some magic with your ride. Only problem is Im located in Panama City FL so if your willing to drive or ship the truck to me to have this done then it will work. As for 20K that should work I dont see it costing that much, Unless there are some issues with the tranny. But seeing how the stock tranny is rated for 13000 pounds pulling power I dont think it would have a problem and the AWD is a huge plus at the track seeing how you can start off running low boost and hit high boost after you get off the line. AND you dont have to worrie about spinning the backend of drag slicks. l hope im some help.

  6. It looks like you have a good idea as to what your wanting to achive. 900HP is a little high but isnt impossible. For a everyday driver and reliablity I would stay with the 6.0 and forge the internals like you plan BUT go with a turbo instead of a super charger. Turbos can be upgraded by adding to the motor. Ex if your starting out running 5psi and change your fuel system to meet the higher fuel demands you can then boost it to 10psi. After that forge your internals and boost it to 18psi all useing the same turbo. PLUS the turbo being driven buy exhaust does not demand HP from the engine to turn the compressor. where as the super take power away to gain. Let me know what you plan, Im still learning all the brands and whats best my self. After building hondas for 8 years and going to chevy its a whole new world.

    get yerself some army/navy fittings, ditch the A1000 and instead get yerself a 2025, the A1000 seems to have a tendancy to vapor lock even with the voltage regulator.  There is no "kit" for the SSS, why would you want one?  DIY, if you can install a turbo, why would you not know how to build a fuel system?

    By heart Im a honda guy ive been building imports for about 8 years. Put 2 of them in import tuner so the chevy world is all new for me. See I know what injectors would fit what car and what I could do to customize to make them work. "However" since I have put away all the toy cars and gone to V8's Im learning all over as to what brands are the best and what is out there for different trucks. Turbos are all the same they go on the same way and come off the same way. The only differance is the pipeing being streched out and putting in a oil scavenge pump or not. Plus anyone who has ever installed a STS system know its simplicity on how it works and installs. I know how to build my fuel system but Im unaware of whats good out there and what brands to buy and ones to stay away from. Example the Mototron corvette #60 injectors will they fit on a LQ9 SS motor or not? If not what company makes a set that do. Also what company makes a good fuel pump that will supply a 600+hp motor? and what company makes good fuel rails? This is what I was asking to begin with so im sorry for the confusion. Thanks for your input. Info you my truck is bone stock except the STS turbo system and intercooler. So thats all i have at the time. Next step is upgradeing the fuel system for higher boost other than 5psi.

  8. Yeah im needing to do something with my fuel system. Its no where near where I want to be. With only running 5 PSI it limits what I can do with the turbo. Any one know what I outta do?

    No not yet im still doing the research to figure out whats best. I just need to run 60 injectors so that way I dont have to upgrade later. But any suggetions on what kinda brands out there make the sh@# for the truck. So far I have not found a thing. Im guessing that the corvette injectors will work but thats the thing im only guessing.
