  1. pretty cool, fastest ive been was on a concord. on land was i think 170 in a 5-series. boat like 50 or 60 mph. that sums it up. ive been wanting to go on the jets down in the keys do you have any info on that?

     

    I was down there for 2 weeks with my squadren for training. I got to go up with the pilots as a incentive ride for being in tha Air Force for so long. I work on the F-15's just about every day so it was kinda cool getting to fly in one. But as far as for civilians going up im not sure. Ive only seen 1 or 2 peeps that where not military get rides and it was becouse of something they did that was hugh like donation of new vehicals and giveing millions to charity type stuff.

    Im in no hurry as long as im rollen on the alloy SS's im fine with that. Chrome would be nice but that will happen when the price is right. Thanks though. Im more into getting my fuel system complete before anything.

  3. Whats the fastest you have been ever on land? on water? and Air? or space for some peeps?

     

    These are the rules the land has to be a vehical used for driveing on land ex: car, truck, moped, motorcycle. As for air anything that flys ex: Jet, rocket, on so on. As for water ex: boat, ship, jetski, jesus sandles.

     

    As for me land wise was 200 mph on a haya busa in alaska. That was a rush!!

     

    Boat wise well not all that fast but it seemed that way was 123 mph in a fountain lightning go fast boat.

     

    Air wise thats going to be a hard one to beat mach 2.1 in a F-15 D model down in Key West. Yeah that was the best time Ive ever had. Pulled 8.3 G's and did tachtical dog fighting. I flew the thing for a little while but had more fun getting slammed around in the back seat pulling G's

     

    Space wise yeah im not astronault so my ass stays here on planet earth!!

  4. I'm in Miami and looking to buy some new rims (22's) in the near future.  My truck is brand new - 2007.  Tires have 800 miles on them.

     

    I'll keep you posted once I make the move.

     

    Cool let me know what you plan on doing and i can pick them up from there. Im also down with a trade for my SS rims Alloy perfect condition and some extra cash if your down with that.

  5. Shhweet!! Yeah I plan on bottle feeding it soon I just want a little more get up. The turbo spools fast as Sh#$ now but the power im wanting just doesnt seem enough. I ride 1000's so that might have something to do with it. But thanks for the input. 50 shot sounds nice at least until my fuel injectors are in. That and im going to boost it to 10psi instead of the 5 im running now.

    :confused: I thought you said you were maxed out on boost... Turn that sumbish up to 8-10psi, the coldest damn intercooler you can fit underhood, ARP rod bolts, and tune, tune, tune. At 10psi you might even have to run a two-stage boost controller to get a controllable launch. What kind of turbo, converter, cam are you using?

     

    STS but i need to up my fuel system first then the boost to 10psi then the Nitrous and after I pay all that off then comes the forged internals and higher boost. I just want to make sure with running max boost for stock internals "10psi" is not going to blow if I add No2 to the formula for more power.

    Thanks everyone else for the props... I have been wrenching on the Av now for a year and a half and still have not made a dent in my mod list.... Looking to do a Roll Pan, Hotchkis swaybars and Hotchkis Trailing arms next......

     

    I tune this thing with HP Tuners and have managed to squeeze a sub-5 second 0-60 mph out of it spinning those 305/50/20's through the first 30 mph.... :driving:

     

    What up man yeah I live down in callaway off star. You ever go down to sonics down in callaway on friday nights? Its a hang out for a bunch of peeps that rice out there rides and other shizza. This friday i wont be out there cuz im heading out of town but I will be next week. you outta hit us up sometime. Wouldnt mind seeing the ave.

     

    I think im the only one here in town though that has 2 SS's sitting in the drive way. I cant get enough of them.

  8. how much did the whole set up cost for your injectors and fuel pump? Also the injectors you are useing are those the same as the ones for the corvette? Also what Aeromotive system did you use? I couldnt find any that match the SS on there website? Sorry for asking so many questions ive just hit a brick wall on trying to get my fuel system upgraded so I can run 10 PSI.

  9. I HAVE A BRAND NEW SET OF 4 CHROME SILVERADO SS RIMS. WHEELS ONLY. 20X8.5 6 ON 5 1/2 BOLT PATTERN FOR SALE. THEY ARE STILL IN THE BOX. COMES WITH THE CHROME CENTER CAPS WITH THE ROUND BLACK CROSS FLAG EMBLEMS(CORVETTE). I HAVE A SET ON MY 04 REG CAB THAT I JUST REMOVED THE BLACK EMBLEMS WITH A HEAT GUN AND STUCK ON SOME BLACK BOWTIE EMBLEMS. LOOKS REALLY GOOD. THEY BALANCED GREAT, TOOK LESS THAN 2 OZ ON EACH WHEEL WITH BRAND NEW BRIDGESTONE MOUNTED ON THEM. THEY ARE STAMPED "GM". I PURCHASED THEM OFF E-BAY ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO FOR A CUSTOMER BUT THEY NEVER CAME UP WITH THE REST OF THE MONEY TO BUY THEM. I  PAID 1150 SHIPPED WILL SELL FOR 950 SHIPPED.I CAN SELL YOU TIRES IF YOU NEED, I WORK AT A TIRE STORE.

  10. What up peeps!!! I got a good question to pick your brain with. I just installed a STS turbo kit with the intercooler and the GT67 turbo on my SS silverado. Now the sound and performance is badass, But the only issue is that I have a huge change in boost levels going from 5 to 2 and back to 5 during full boost? Also Im wanting to maximize the amount of power with out changeing the internals. Fuel delievery is the most important for that and Im wanting to know what should I go with on fuel injector sizes. To get the most bang for the buck and something that I can upgrade the motor for higher boost and not have to change the injectors. My end goal is 15 psi with forged internals but thats years down the road. For now im staying with stock internals. This is my daily driver so down time has to be minamal. Thanks for your insite.
