I installed an led light bar from Stylin Concepts and am now plagued with condensation the full length of the bar. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions besides buying a new one and sealing the ends with silicone before I reinstall? By the way, having problem with StylinConcepts web site today when trying to see if they will accept a return.

Roger that! I bought microfibers all over the the place and then ran across the ones at Costco. They are great!

I bought mine before the Red Tag event. Was window stickered at $38K; I got it for $29K out the door. I don't think the Red Tag is as important as making sure you grab all of the available 06 rebates.

I have a complete 3M job on my SUV (hood, lights, bumper and mirrors) and am very pleased. I am going to have my 06 SS bumper done soon. Did a lot of research before I went to 3M and would suggest you do the same. I have seen a lot of problems with bubbles and extreme yellowing with other brands, although have never seen Llumar.
Hope my 3 cents helps.

Nice job! I am leaving my license plate off until I get a "fix-it" ticket and then plan on simply using long, thin bolts to secure it until I get a "write-off" of the ticket....then the plate is gone again.
By the way, nice bowtie...never seen one with the image of a guy holding a camera before.

I agree, that is why I am a bit bummed out. I have e-mailed them and waiting for an answer.
Glad to hear someone has made it work.

Well, I just opened my Euro antenna from AntennaX, and it did not fit! I have used these stubby black antennas before on several vehicles and never had a problem, but my SS has a large male thread that does not match any of the adapters that came with my Euro.
In checking out Stylin Concepts, there are a number of good looking billet antennas that I am now considering. Anyone try any of these? Especially the 13" black billet? If so, any problems on a 2006 model?

[Now that I just ordered to aluminum cover last night, I see this post! I checked it out on eBay and it looks great. Guess I will order one and then see which one looks best on my Silver SS.
Thanks for sharing this one!

Ah! You know what I like!

I checked eBay but didn't find one with SS other than for the Cobalt. I will run a search a few times a week to make sure

Anyone know if there is a chrome/billet third brake light cover with an SS cut out instead of the usual bowtie?
With my SS trailer hitch cover and Shopman SS bowtie, I would love to round out with an SS third brake light cover.

Can't make my pic post in this message. Go to my profile to see the photo of the new grille.

I will vouch for Dylan's comments on DER. I started using this stuff when I lived in Orange County; it was a biggie for the Mercedes and BMW crew down there (for those of you who have never been to Orange County, you don't refer to anything as a Mercedes or BMW there unless it sells for $80K+). Anyway, I have used the entire line for seven years and have never found anything close. Their leather and vinyl products are excellent as well, and their spray cleaner for "in-between" washes can't be beat!

I have a GM one ... Mine is extremely hard to see, due to being low profile and being a black truck ....
Look Closely ... It's on there
Excellent fit! My SS is the Silver Birch, so it won't be invisible, but I love the look. I was going to order an Aero Wrap by EGR from Stylin Concepts, but would like to check out the GM one first. Do you have the part number?

Anyone using a big guard on the front of an SS to prevent stone chips? I put tht 3M invisible bra on my SUV and love the protection it gives, but I hate the visible line across the hood. I want to put the invisible bra across the entire painted front end of my 06 SS, but would rather have a quality bug guard to protect the hood. My question is.....with the hood being rather high (6" or so vertical face) above the grille, does a bug guard look ridiculous on this vehicle?
I realize style is in the eye of the beholder, but would appreciate some opinions.

Thanks, knew it was something close
Thanks for the help; just ordered the 5 piece set from Carriage Works. Will post pics when all the work is done next week.
what part number did you use? i was looking to do a grill change at some point too.
#21100 for the two piece upper grill
#25104 for the lower center grill
#25105 for the two smaller "intake" grills

Im tearing my hair out trying to decide on mufflers for the SS. My last truck had 2 Flowmaster 50 series Delta's on it and I was'nt real happy with them.
Does anyone here run the Flowmaster 50 series HD or SUV muffler? If so, what are your opinions on it and the noise factor inside and out. Better yet, a sound clip would be awesome !!! I've listened to the sounds page on Flowmaster, but I know the SS won't sound like that !!!
Just had Flowmaster 50 Series HD installed with two 3.5 inch chrome tips. Sound is excellent and not too loud in the cab. I had the same system on my 02 Ford F150 V* and was very pleased.

Anyone know if there are any aftermarket full billet grilles available for the 06 body style? I am ready to purchase and install the typical 2-piece billet that will leave the center bar/bowtie in place but, before I do, I want to ensure that there is not a full billet grille available as there is for older models.
Also, any help with a stainless bowtie source for the grille would be appreciated.
Next week I am having the following done:
billet grille
stainless running boards
spray in bed liner
vinyl bed rail caps
K&N cold air intake
Just had my Flowmaster 50 series with Dual Chrome tips installed last Saturday!

Thanks for the sympathies......some extra thoughts:
1. After sobbing about being sorry and not seeing the red light, she tells her insurance company that the light was defective, I ran the light, and that the police report will prove her innocence.......WRONG!
2. Shopman's SS bowtie came through without a scratch and I credit it for ripping up the side of her van!
3. Worse part is that I am stuck driving a Grand Prix rental car!
4. Wistful feelings every time I see another SS cruise by.
