ya i have a stripper wheel from work when i had to remove decals of a cop car. wont that mess up the black, it kind of messed up the white on the cop cars?? well its going to get painted so it wont matter. and also i havent found seats yet, and im pissed becuase i want leather. i might have found a console and im happy about that

soon...very soon. i had so many great deals on bumpers lately except they were all in texas and shipping was outrageous. so im just going to get a new one.

well the door moldings and fender flares are on the list to be removed. and right now i just have a 2 inch lowering shackels in the back. i have a 2/4 kit just dont have time to put it in.

wel the truck has been so dirty latley. working 3 jobs makes it hard to find time to wash it. so i decided to get it detailed. droped it off this morning and just got back from picking it up. he did a nice job considering how bad it was. im defintly going to paint the whole truck once i get all my mods done. there will be a post in a few weeks of all my progress(spelling??), i have alot coming in. well here some pics of it at its cleanest.

i thought the same thing, i noticed that my topic was brought up and i was like wow this is old. but ya a little update. im going for a tune, and cai. im talking to a guy who does cam swaps and im going to get a price.

its a spray not a film. you can do it yourself for short money.

well today on the way to the hardware store i saw a nice 03 ss at a conveince store. so i pull in and get a drink once he's in the truck i tell him nice truck and told him about this site. we start talking a little about his truck. his truck was so nice a goodmark cowl and a sts turbo charger. sounded mean and the blow off valve was nice. i gave him one of those little fliers that you could print out. well hopefully he joins. he seemed like a nice guy and new alot about ss's. well if you stop by this site and read this come on and join. there is so much cool info on here it never gets boring.~~~~Kyle

Me personally, am not a fan of adding alot of chrome to these trucks. But that's just me. I have seen color matched gas doors though.
arent all gas doors color matched?? i havent seen it another way, but idk

i have the headlights like that, just not the turn signal ones, mine are a little diffrent. imo looks to much chrome, but thats becuase i still have the stock chrome grill housing and a street scence chrome grill. if u want to sell your stockers(if they are amber delted) shoot me a pm. i would love to get a set off those.~~Kyle

ya never thought of it being a factory nav.. but i would stil try that first since its free.

all you have to do it ground the park wire. so it makes the conection and thinks its in park. we do it all the time at work. just finding the wire if you dont have the manual is a little tough. i havent seen a kit but i dont doubt that there is one, but if its anything liek the ones we have done just ground that one wire.

wasnt there a post like this a loooonngggg time ago? i think the problems was like one part was put in backwards??? i hope you get it worked out. i hate not being able to drive my truck also. zippys a great guy he will try to work it out 4 u..

thats actually what i was going to use. i heard so much about the fusion paint. but, at work we are putting up a spray booth again for bedliners and me and my buddy that works there are going to paint alot of things. he has painting back ground so he is going to paint his hood, grill and bumper. im going to have my lights done, where he paints over the amber like makes a box around everything. looks great on his truck. my whole grill and if i get my bumper in time that also. but we were going to get actually car paint. not a rattle can job, though yours came out great..

no wonder there going out of buss. they put such a high mark up on there stuff no one wants to buy anything. i know theres one store around me, i might go see if they are still open and get some things

ya well when i did it i was pissed becuase there was like a million decals(a whole cop car) and it was like 110 in the shop. so i must have been going harder on it then ur supose too.
