What do yall recommend for a over the counter wax. I know from doing a search most of you use zaino and poorboys, but I am anxious to wax my truck this weekend and don't feel like waiting for a order to come in next week. I'm waxing my black 05', paint looks fairly decent besides, just feels like it has not wax at all on it. I just bought this truck last week. So I am thinking a good wax job should get me by for now. I've heard a couple people mention megs. Any other recomendations?

Do you guys use a buffer, or all by hand? And about how long does it usually take you to wax? Just curious, I'm guessing I could get it done in about 2 - 2 1/2 hours...

Ouch... Little more then I would like to spend. Guess you get what you pay for. Maybe I'll do it myself when I get enough time.

Just wondering to the people who pay to have there trucks waxed. Where do you take it, and around what do they charge. I want to get mine waxed, but not sure where to take it.

Another noob here from Texas. I've been lurking around here for about a month now and thought I would say hi. I drive a 05 sierra slt ext cab I puchased less then 3 weeks ago. It's got all the options I need plus more, except a sunroof. That would be nice. I've been picking up all kinds of info and tips and seems like everyone is helpful on here, that may change when they find out i drive a GMC.... . I just couldn't pass this truck up, and I'm glad I didn't. Well that's about it, I'll try to post a pic or two if I can figure it out. So far I only have the pics from the dealership, weather just started getting nice here. Thanks
