Saw a F150 Lighting hop on I-75 so I pulled up next to him. From a 85 mph roll the lightning hits it and I follow. Nothing but a second after I'm pulling past him and just keep pulling. At the end I was multiple cars ahead and hit a top speed of 131mph clocked with my GPS. He was definitely playing though because we went 2-3 times with the same result, him getting raped. Thought they were faster than that. With my 4.10 gears I didn't think it would be a murder that bad on the interstate. Couldn't tell you what year it was. I don't know much about fords.

It's not too much. Any bigger would be. Didn't your vmax come with true duals all the way to the muffler anyway? I have an 06 vmax and when I bought it new it had true duals to the muffler with bigger than 2 1/2 inch pipe. Shouldn't need anymore than that. Guys on here are running one 3 inch pipe back and they are forced induction. (Corsa).

I have the 8400 and had to cut the platic bracket on the truck to fit the bottom corners in the back. If I didn't it would stick out a 1/4 inch

A good cheap touch navi? I dont think those words go together in the same sentence. Your looking at base price of 700 if you want navi i would think (prob more). This isnt including the hookups here. I have purchased my things from either metra or scoushe. You can go on either of their sites and put your model and year end to tell you everything you need.

No problem. Just did some research regarding bluetooth streaming from your phone to the head unit and your phone must support AVRCP 1.3 to get meta data feedback on the unit. No feedback for me...stupid rezound.

Mx3 pulled up next to me on 275 south. I dropped into second gear at around 55 mph. He took the chance and got the jump. Pulled on him all the way to 120 then let off for traffic. He was at my tail in the end. You could hear his BOV through shifts, he was boosted. I used to have a v6 mx3 and they are fun. Always wanted to through a turbo on it though. Hopefully I catch some other people on the ride home.

Dont hate on the dusty. Tomorrow is my wash day. You can see on the left of this picture where some asshat stole my last head unit. My old one went in with a cage. This one screwed to the dash kit which screwed to the truck itself. The detachable face is a plus for added security to. Side picture for above poster. The screen is flat but there is a bulge where the buttons are at the bottom. I thought it was flat all the way down but it ends up being better since you don't accidentally touch the screen to change track and volume. USB extension cable with my sd card in it. Works wonderful, especially with mixtrax which is a built in DJ that fades and such. Here is where I put my microphone. The Bluetooth is so shit though. I have done everything I can to troubleshoot it but I think its just the way it is. I emailed Pioneer about the subject and they will be getting back to me I hope. So other than the Bluetooth I am in love with the unit. A lot of functions and outputs for anything you would like. Definitely a top notch head unit. My bypass from microbypass is also working great with no problems. As soon as I finished the head unit I was rolling around watching music videos without having to hit a dumb switch. One last thing that bothers me is on pioneer compatibility page it says that it will give on screen meta data from a Bluetooth device streaming Pandora. This doesn't seem to be the case and I have also put this issue in the email to Pioneer. The on screen controls do control the skip and pause/play but it would be nice to be able to select a station to stream. This unit is catered to Apple devices and I really hope they come out with an Android compatible firmware update since it just came out a month ago.

Umm...black bear, wheatley, zippy, a few others. All are between 200-400$ and give free updates for life of vehicle. That's void on some if you go forced induction. Hope this answers your question but it is plastered all over the forum. ;)

Not yet. Will tomorrow. When I was tuned through black bear, Justin advised that I should clean the MAF sensor and relog so I did. Hope I didn't spray it too much. I will keep it updated. Doesn't seem to be running bad at all. Running great actually but could be the reason I'm getting worse gas mileage after installing my tune. This poped up after I installed it and I thought it was suppose to improve mpg a little is why I say that.

Stopped by advance today and the code ended up being my MAF. code P0102.

If you bring it to the dealer and they mess it up then it would be covered by them? I took mine and had it flushed at 85k but I'm 2wd and vmax...worked great. Dealer won't replace your filter though. I don't think they don't drop the pan but just back feed it. Idk.

Guess ill try. Last time before I replaced the plugs and wires when it did it. I scanned with EFIlive and it didnt pull anything.

Replaced plugs and wires last weekend. This morning I got the flash again. When it has flashed, it feels like nothing is wrong though. Still very strong. What's the deal? Any other things it could be?

I've always loved Pioneer head units. I haven't had one in 6 yrs though. I have a feeling its going to be pretty legit. Did you do the brake bypass and are you using android or iPhone?

I ordered a Metra Axxess GMRC-01. I don't have steering controls or bose.

Got one of these on the way. Can't wait to put this baby in. Gonna be sweet. Should be here in a week and ill post some pics with a little review. Btw. If anyone is trying to install this and wants to bypass the parking brake. Get a TR7 or a relay from microbypass for this specific unit. A regular relay will not work only because the new pioneer is looking for a double pulse. The new TR7 or microbypass gives this double pulse. On/off/on and holds. Or just put in a switch but that's not as awesome.

I'm going to spend the extra for ceramics. Price of painted ones plus place around here to coat them is more expensive. Part number for ceramics is 72c2265
