I have a 03 SS (BLACK) and was wondering if i should paint my grills black(upper/lower ) I think it would look pretty sinister. Iam working on getting all black things( wheels, headlights, tinted tails). Has anyone did this.? Let me know guys.

Hey man, is that the new Alpine head unit touch screen? I wanna buy this! What modifications did u do to make it fit? I was on crutchfields site and there was mods that need to be made to make it fit...

What is the big deal with guys thinking an 80e has to be upgraded to hold serious power? They are essentially a TH-400 , convertors are no more exspensive then a vigi/ yank/ for a 4l60-65 . Iam sure the computer issues could be handled by a good tuner.. I know in the fbodies 4l80e's are becoming more common. Wonder if you could use an fbody manual ecm, and then make it vaccum modulated?

I also had a Camaro z28 with all the bolt ons and built 6 speed. But i wanted to get somthing that could Tow my RACE car, and the damn z couldn't do that lol... I love this Truck it has almost 50k, but runs Very strong, and allways get compliments.. Go with the truck you wont b disappointed.... Your car looked alot like mine Except i had White leather, and I forged Aero Wheels. TRUCKS ARE COOL

Just Joined the site, and like what iam seeing. Looking to take the truck to the track Friday night for some good Air up @ Crapitol Raceway. Any quick mods i could do to get a lil more out of her..? I figure ill go on about 1/4 tank of gass. Clean out any tools/books/ cd's etc. drop the tailgate. Air the Tires up to about 40lbs, Prob gonna get it tuned wednesday night. I was thinking of spending 50 Bucks to get a Cutout put in to uncork her a bit. What should i expect.. Its an 03 With 48k, Bone Stock. I was thinking 14.9-15.3 does that sound about right? Either way the Jet -Hots/ outlaw/and Corsa are Def. needed
