I would have heard it my tailgate is wired into my alarm, as soon as the tailgate is opened the alarm goes off. Ive seen to many trucks with no tailgate to have left it with out it. The fact that they didnt even get my emblem leads me to believe it was probably one of the runts that runs around the neighborhood that tried to take it off, I doubt they could have figured out how to take the tailgate off. Ya I saw them on ebay, the measurements seem off to be factory emblems. They say they are 1 1/2" x 6 3/4", unless they are measuring both s's together. I tried calling them but the guys that do the ebay auctions were not there when I called today. Will try again on monday. Thanks

Quick question, has anyone ordered these SS emblems from this site SS Emblem I saw the sites ad in Truckin magazine today. Reason I am asking is cause someone tried to steal my SS emblem off my tailgate, cept the dumbass didnt know how to take it off and broke one of the S's, and scratched the paint. I was told the emblem through the dealer was like $100 bucks so if this is the same size and material, I would much rather get these. Thanks for any info.

I let my wife drive my truck for a month while her car was in the shop. She was putting in 87 for that whole month. After about a week after she stopped driving it it gave me a check engine light. Got the code read and it was 2 o2 sensors giving the engine light. Bought some fuel injector cleaner and went and filled the tank with 91 octane. 2 days later the engine light turned off and hasnt came back since. In my opinion it makes a big difference in the performance and life of the truck. As much as it hurts to have to spend almost 4.00/gal I dont think I can do the lower octane in fear of something bad happening.

Dont wash your truck, it usually rains right after I wash my truck. If you go and wash and wax it, I can guarantee it will probably get sprayed with toxic gas. I actually went and rubbed my truck with mud just as a lucky charm. It will be cool to watch it get shot down if and when it does though.
