  1. That is solid CLASS! I'M very impressed. Execellent choice.
  2. Arizona doesn't have very good chrome shops. That was the price of chrome. I actually had them sent out threw a dealer my buddy works at and didn't pay normal shipping.
  3. Just a thought for anybody looking, I bought a set of painted wheels over E-bay and when I got them had them shipped to a chrome shop in Cali, they came back beautiful. Seems to me it was about a $100 bucks each. I'm looking for some stock looking wheels that are 10 inches wide. Does anybody know if wheels can be widened or are 20" X 10 " available?

    Question?

You'll probably get alot of different opinions on this one. I've heard it said that it's the cross hatching on the cylander that help the rings to seat, and if you baby it too much it will wear off before doing the job. Not sure about reality but in my opionion, if you want it to go fast, break it in fast!
  5. I put about 150 miles a day on my SS with work and love every minute of it. I'm always dissapointed to have to drive the wifes mustang.
  6. I know a guy who has a little shop that fabricates exhaust for race cars. I bought the flanges to fit the factory header and another one to fit the turbo. All he has to do is weld a pipe in between em. Then tie into the exhaust going out back. Fairly simple for any guy who does that all day.
  7. I'll try to get some pictures over the weekend, most of the kit is sittin on the floor in my bedroom. Waitin on afew more parts before the install...
  8. Don't want to rip off anybodies thread here, but in a nutshell: I am using two Garrett GT3582R turbos which are ball bearing / water cooled. I've already mounted the intercooler behind the grill which is 18" X 24" X 4". It was a tight fit! The oiling system starts at an adapter I bought that mounts under the oil lines that go up to the stock cooler. from the turbos the lines run to a Tilton pump that will flow to a Moroso Accumulator that I'm adapting as a holding tank. Remember, these turbos are too low for gravity feed. I decided to run it into the pan from there. The air intake comes up from the intercooler into the bottom of the stock air box, so when you open the hood it looks bone stock!
  9. Another option to concider is the possibility of assembling your own kit. It isn't done commonly, but there is enough information on this forum to learn what all of the components are. The upside is you can design the kit the way you want it. That's what I am doing and have about 90% of the parts in now. I chose to put turbos at the bottom of each exhaust manifold, on either side of the transmission.
