no the new HD's don't have any sort of power adder. They quit putting eatons on after the body style change. I meant he added a vortech after about 1300 miles.

They are beautiful trucks, my good friend just bought one. I hate him though because it already has a vortech under the hood.

Ok so I just ordered a billit grill set. Both upper and middle lower piece. (not really sold on the billit in the brake ducts yet) When it gets here is there anything I should prep it with to try to keep it shiney before putting it on the SSS? I've detailed for years but always stayed away from chrome so also any suggestions on keeping them clean. here is what i got....

I really wanted to do a two tone with black on top like BSER's but since we live in the same city i figured i'd do something different.

Ok there is a guy that has a Zex nitrous kit for sale for $250. Comes with everything including an Auto Meter Nitrous pressure gauge. However he pulled it off his 95 Mustang. I never got into nitrous so I'm not sure if this will work on the SSS or not....anyone know?

I'm not sure if you are talking about brand new vehicles or just new to me. I've never bought a new vehicle, way to much depreciation like you said. I work at a car dealership and its ridiculas how much vehicles lose their value. The SS is horrible with books for some reason. I do see what you're saying on money though, I didn't put any money down on the truck and kinda jumped into it, not getting a great deal on top of books killing the SSS. I'm really leaning towards keeping it, and buying stuff here and there but waiting to put it on all at once. It will be like a new truck lol. Time will tell I guess.

You aren't going to get anything for trade in...I was only offered 22K for my truck for trade, and I had to fight and argue for that.

I get bored with my vehicles after 6-7months for some reason. This was has just cost me a ton on payments so i haven't modified like I have all my other vehicles. Who knows......

ok guys I need some opinions... I am/was trying really hard to sell my truck over the last couple weeks and just put it on autotrader. Anyway I let my roommate borrow my truck to go pick up his new big screen and he punched it leaving the house and it sounded so good and looked amazing going down the road....I fell in love again. I am on a pretty tight budget but what could I do to make sure I don't get bored with the SSS. The only mods I have are a flowmaster cat back, painted front black bow tie, and amber drl's. Just looking for opinions if you were in my posistion... Thanks guys If I keep the truck it is def gonna get a tune, truck is just too slow. **I'm going to keep the truck for sale for at least 30 days and see what happens**

Will a set of 275/45/20 tires affect anything so bad that I shouldn't use them. Stock is 275/55/20's. Just curious, oh yea mines AWD

yea its full prep, finish and they even pull the tires off. I'm just trying to decide if I want them black or not...

I'm not a big fan of chrome, and its actually chrome dipped or however they do it. I can get them powdercoated black here for 45/wheel.

Bought mine in Nov 06 used with 41K. Payed right at 28K because of some negative equity. 575/month on a 60 month term. **On a side note I was just checking on trading in my truck already and NADA here in Kansas for trade is 27,675 and retail is 31,775 with 48K*** I'm thinking really really hard about it since I know I can get that because I sell at a dealership.

I really like the style of the SSS wheel but I'm not a huge fan of the painted look. I was thinking about having them powdercoated black...Anyone have any pics of how that might look? I could get them chromed for about $60/piece.
