  1. jimbom, I am sorry that you are having problems with ebay, I don't know why they wont let you contact a seller for 3 days? I was not trying to be offensive with my reply, just reacting to what I took as an attack on the integrity of my auctions from someone i I did not know. I am sure if I knew you and we were sitting having a beer together they would have been funny to me as I have a good smart a** sense of humor I just did not see the humor in the post. Please send me a PM with your ebay user id (I can't remember it and don't want to remove it again) and I will be happy to have you bid on my items. Thanks for clearing things up. Take care.
  2. I am in no way trying to have an attitude. Simply replying to a person accusing me of wasting their time and not being on the up and up with my auctions. I never claimed to be anything other than a newb. It is kind of hard to hide that fact. Please feel free not to not bid if you feel the items are overpriced thats the idea of an auction. I appologize to any one that was as offended as this guy by my post. That was not my intention at all. Have a nice day.
  3. Just a quick note to remind you that these two items are ending this weekend. I would much rather ship them to a forum member who loves these trucks as much as I do. Thanks again and have a good one.
  4. This is the first I have heard of this person? Your smart A** comments about wasting time and buying pistols in DC are unnessasary and unwelcome. Very classy. The auction clearly states that a person with no feedback should contact the seller PIOR to bidding. Pretty clear to me. You chose not to pay attention to that request and bid anyway so your bid was removed as stated in the auction. I am not aware of any new members having trouble contacting sellers before, plus you had another way to contact me through this forum. You chose to do neither and bid anyway. What did you expect to happen? Since you are new to ebay, I will tell you that many times people with no feedback open a new bogus user id and bid on auctions and never pay for them. I make that request all of the time to try and avoid having to deal with deadbeat bidders and new users who don't know what is going on. Please see my feedback on ebay and know that I take what I sell on there very seriously and all of my buyers and sellers have been very pleased with my service. Attention all other forum members: Please do not let this new user's need to make public their own inability to follow simple instructions deter you from bidding on my items. See my feedback and know that we will have a smooth transaction. This person could have contacted me with a private message and chose to make it public for what I can only assume is a lame attempt to discredit my auctions and posts that I have worked hard to set up. Thank you for taking the time to view my parts and good luck bidding.
  5. I have a front and rear set of eradispeed rotors for the Silverado SS for sale. They are better than new because I just sent them in for warranty work and the rotors were replaced front and back. They are still in the plastic from Baer. They do reuse the hats on the front two piece and anchors. So great chance to buy a re-new set for a used price. Sold my truck so no need for these. See the auction for more info. eBay Motors/ Baer Eradispeed 2301028 2302024 Full set GM Trucks SUV (item 190173077702 end time Nov-18-07 19/49/51 PST) I also have a BSER roll pan I just bought. If you are on this forum, you probably know about how nice these are. Please see the auction below for more info. eBay Motors/ Custom Fiberglass Roll Pan Chevrolet Silverado SS BSER (item 190173084514 end time Nov-18-07 20/20/59 PST) Thanks for taking the time to look at these items. I have really appreciated all the help and info from this forum. I will miss my SSS and looking forward to selling these items to save for the new Camaro! Take care.
  6. hyperliteSS Sounds like that is something I need to look into. I tow a boat and other stuff pretty often. Your rear sat lower than the front with the mcgaughy 2/3.5? Is that with a load or trailer hooked up or just regular stance? I have not heard anyone saying the front sat too high. Did you consider having the torsion bars turned down?
  7. punkdSS, Looks tight man. I sent you a PM with my email. Thanks for the good pics and info. Mike
  8. Thanks for the info on labor. I will look forward to seeing those pics. What kind of shocks are you going to do? Thanks.
  9. punkdss, Sorry, forgot to ask if you have any rubbing issues with that set up? Thanks again. Mike
  10. Punkdss, Looks great man. That is roughly the set up I was considering and it is nice to see a pic. I am curious to see what you think after the torsion bar adjustment. Will you please post more pics after that is done? I would love to see the truck from a straight on side view to see the stance even better. Did you do the kit yourself? If so, how did it go. Again, it looks great and thanks for the help. Mike
  11. Quik, Thanks for the info. Pardon my ignorance, but what is the DJM kit and caltracs? Thanks for the continued help. Mike
  12. I am sold on the 3/4 drop with new shocks. I understand how to get the 3" in front but am still confused on how to get 4" in the rear. I think I saw a thread that said to do the belltech hangers and the McGaughy shackles to get the full 4" drop? Any opinions here? Thanks. Mike
  13. Good info guys. Just a follow up and I realize this is somewhat of a personal preference but I am wanting to go as low as possible and flatten out the stance of the truck while avoiding rubbing/clearance issues with the wheels. I have the stock SS rims now but plan on going to 22 or 24 along with the drop. Am I correct that the beltech kit is only available in the 2/2 drop for our truck and the McGaughy is only available in the 2/3.5 drop? I also see alot of guys saying the 3/4 gives the best look. I know you can get the 3 up front with the spindles and torsion adjustment but how are you getting the 4 out back with the McGaughy kit? Thanks for the continued advise. Mike
  14. Thanks for all of the help guys. I had not heard anyone complain of ride on the forums before but after talking to some of the installers in my area they mentioned a sacrifice in ride. Still trying to decided on how low and what brand to go with. Thanks for all of the suggestions. Mike
  15. Hey Guys, Thinking about lowering my 04 SSS but I am concerned about ride quality. The truck is my everyday driver. What do you guys out there with lowered trucks think. Also, any difference in the Belltech vs. McGau...??? kits. Thanks in advance for your help.
  16. Man I am jelous. Good goals and ideas for many of us. Thanks for the very thorough write up.
  17. Hello All, Well one too many toys in the stable and the one that gets the worst gas milage of my toys has to go. Here are the details. 2004 Black SS 43000 miles stock chrome rims upgraded center caps Bear Eradispeed upsized and drilled rotors (as well as black painted calipers) Billit grill Custom SS floormats Gaylord Speedstur cover (top of the line remote release, light, carpet) Had rear wheel well liners that have cracked (new kit that needs install will come with) Truck is garage kept and waxed and cleaned regularly. No wrecks or dings. Normal wear and tear on tires and paint for truck of this age. Nice clean truck that gets lots of looks and compliments. No dissapointments here. You guys know all of the goodies that come on our SS's so no need to repeat those. Obviously Awd driveline. I am really needing to get around 26K (obo) out of her to get out of my loan. I am hoping that the 3500 in upgrades will help make up some of the difference in the market value and what I need out of it. I am located in the Oklahoma City area and am close to the OKC airport. More pics available through email for serious buyers. Truck is also available for local inspection. Please call 405-570-3592 if have any questions. Thanks for taking the time to look at my truck. It will be missed. Mike P.S. Not sure how to post pics but will try to figure out. In the meantime, Please send me your email and I will forward if you are a serious buyer. Thank you.
  18. So I am not too crazy. Is it accessable or serviceable? In other words, should I mess with it or is it neccessary to change it? Thanks 04CHASE.
  19. Hi guys and gals. I am new to the site and love it. I just found you because I recently picked up some up-keep parts for my baby (04 black silverado ss). One of those parts was a new fuel filter. I have looked over the lines all the way from the tank to the fuel rail and did not see an inline filter! Am I crazy or what. There is a part number in the owners manual for one. Can any one help a brother out? Thanks in advance for your help. I look forward to spending more time on the boards and hopefully talking about much cooler things that fuel filters in the future! Mike
