Yep, I have the bose stereo...

Anyone??? is there a better harness to use for the SS than the GMOS-04 Harness? I dont have on-star Anyone around MD that can help me hook this thing up right so i dont have any of the probs above?

I hooked up my headunit today, and noticed a couple of things... 1st, the speakers pick up a lot of engine noise. 2nd even when the car is off the speakers have a hum to them. I had curcuit city put the harness together for me. I am using a GMOS-04 Harness. Is there a better harness? I noticed even the door chime isnt as noticeable. As of right now, the stock hu is back in and I am again!

Yea I will prolly just leave it out... what i did with my old car.. I bought the Metra GMOS adapter from ebay, just waiting on it to get here... got one for $50 instead of $100. Im also going to do the PAC adapter to retain the steering wheel controls. is the sound any better with an aftermarket h/u with the bose speakers vs. the stock h/u and the bose speakers? I will be doing an amp/sub install around springtime with a subthump box.

gettin ready to do a flip out install, and wondered if the stock bose subwoofer would work with the aftermarket headunit? Also when the screen opens on the flipout, is the shifter in the way at all? Thanks....
