I was looking to get the 6000....but I'm doing this for looks instead of light quality....I guess I need to let a buddy drive my truck and see how the Silverstars look. I want to be noticed at night just like I'm noticed during the day

I'm all for helping my buddy out and told him some basic stuff he needs....he said its his dads truck and he is trying to get him to invest a little money into it.

I'm currently running Silverstars for my low beams and about to get HIDs...I know I can expect a much brighter light...but will the headlights look any different from others looking at me?

Not many Lightnings or srt-10s around my area either.... I got my truck late last year and was the only SS around...2 others in my area now. Rumble Bee's are dime a dozen though.

Just bought a paint kit...wait 3 hours before throwing the tire back on...wait 24 hours before you drive.... will take me 4 weeks to get this done..I drive daily except for Saturday and I can only do one wheel at a time...

Dude at work just got a Rumble Bee and talking about how fast it is...I told him lets them up sometime...we roughly have it planned for Tuesday night...hate to bash his pride though when he just got it...I have already toasted a few so I'm not that worried about it...he said its completely stock but VERY fast

Sorry to reply to an older thread but I been trying to do some research on this....I'm getting all different answers from different sources... Tom over at Tbyrne said I need the 4L60e kit. Jesse Bubb said the HD2 kit. Where did you find this HD2-C kit to order? After reading this thread I'm pretty sure I need the HD2 kit.

This chick where I work part-time has a 01 Supercharged Bonneville SSEi and been talking shit for a long time...her husband came up to work with the car and we took them on the bypass...went from a 30 roll .... then a 50 roll....then a dig. Started even on the 30 roll and stayed even until I had to slow down for vehicle around 80ish.... on the 50 roll started even then I pulled a bit from 80 to 100 and kept it...let off around 120...he was around my back bumper on the dig it was no contest...prolly a good 1-2 lengths on him when I let off at 120...pulled on him hard off the line because he spun and I held my lead A buddy was riding with me and its all on video..ill post a link once I get them from him

your tool box looks fine and if you need one on your SS thats the way to go.... I noticed his tool box on a drive by and it was extended above his a bed a good ways...plus with the running boards and rails..i thought it was a bit much

I had a hard time making my choice for a mail order tune between Wheatley and Jesse Bubb...I went with Jesse and I been very pleased with it. The customer service is great and he has free lifetime upgrades and you can't beat the price..158 with no core charge.

I'm friends with an owner of a local restaurant and he has a few workers that can't wait to get my truck side by side....so this one kid has an Eclipse 04ish V6 and is talking like he is really fast and will take me...so we get on a bypass (interstate like road) and get down to 30 and punch it....it wasn't even close. I jumped out from the start and pulled the whole way..left off around 115...it was really no surprise though except to this kid. Now This kid says he can beat me from a dig though...I can't wait to make him look even worse. This other chick has a Bonneville SSEi and it sort of worries me...she talks big...these run good?

I was driving around town the other day and seen what appeared to be a SS heading my direction. But I couldn't believe it when I seen it and I'm positive it was a SS. It had running boards and chrome pipe bed rails and a TOOL BOX. I wanted to stop this dude and punch him for doing that!!! There is also a regular cab with a SS front bumber and brillet grill and he has the SS emblems on the sides and back. I actually get excited when I see it cause I think its another SS because he looks just like a SS from the front...he has got me twice. He has a TOOL BOX also though!!! On another note...seen a sharp looking SS I been trying to track down and I planted a SilveradoSS.com flyer along with my email on his windshield tonight..who knows if he will check us out.

I think my boss is taking off that time...so it will be impossible for me to get off...somebody has to run the show what sort of family stuff is there to do in the area..if I make it out one year..I would have my wife and kids with me
