  1. Still under construction! We are using my truck as the guinea pig. once bugs are worked out and we have one side complete i will post pictures and info. Thanks!
  2. Thanks to 04chase for the link to are sy/ty kit it should look something like when completed.
  3. Let me clarify what kind of kit this will be. This kit will be for the guys that are at stock height or lower. This kit is not intended to raise the truck up or for offroad use the intent would be for street/strip or road coarse. I have 2" drop spindles up front and did not want to turn the keys to get the truck down another inch. So I looked over our coil over control arm kit for the SY/TYs & I determined that a similar kit would work on the Silverado SS. It should lighten up the truck a bit considering your getting ride of the torsion bars and the upper and lower arms. I think you can go one more full inch and still retain the stock cv's, I believe if you were to go 2 or more inches the cv's would start binding under suspension load. we will be testing the articulation of the cv's.
  4. Shock will be in the form of QA1's single or double adjustable. Only part in the way right now is the bump stop frame bracket. Coil springs will come in different rates and will be ordered specifically for the trucks front end weight. The kit will most likely consist of upper and lower tubular control arms plus a set of qa1 shocks single/double adjustable and new coil springs based on the stock truck weight custom rated springs might be available but will be special order, kit will also included new polyurethane upper/lower control arm bushings. We had the truck on the rack this past Saturday when I was replacing all of the steering components pictures and some mock up were performed. I will keep everyone updated on the progress.
  5. No pics right this second still working on arms and mock up. once i have pics I will post them but its basically just like are sy/ty kit or should be pretty close to it. Un sure on pricing just yet. My 04 AWD silverado SS will be the guine pig for this setup. already has 2-3 drop on stock wheels with baer brakes front and rear.
  6. Is anyone interested in a torsion bar delete kit?? I work at race proven motors and drive a Silverado SS we are in the process of building a kit that will included upper and lower control arms plus QA1 shock with custome link spring to delete the torsion bars completely. We already manufacture a kit for the Syclone and Typhoon AWD. Please give m eyour feedback thanks!
  7. I am not sure about a rear setup but I am in the process of manufacturing a front coil over setup with control arms to delete the torsion bar setup.
  8. What brand are the wheels on your truck? You had them painted to match or powder-coated? Thanks!
  9. I posted a question over here please give me your opinions, http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29550 Thanks!
  10. Whats up I am a newbie. I work for Strictly Performance motorsports. http://www.spmotorsports.net/ I actually use the search, & I also look for links that everybody has posted to old topics. My question is about Billy Boat headers, anybody have them? Are they a good product? I can get a pair on eBay for what I think is a reasonable price. I could get headers through work but my discount is'nt that great. 2004 SS silverado BLACKED out, magnaflow cat back, & special strictly perfoprmance tune using HP Tuner software.
