  3. ok you will need to notch the frame no way around it unless you like smacking axle on frame. When you remove the oem bumpstops you will have about 1.5 inches before axle hits frame so any bump you hit it will slaP. You will need to notch the rear. The belltexh notch is 290 shipped and actually boxes in the rear frame making it stronger
  4. Ok first of all in rear once you take the bracket off will bottom out on axle. 5 inch drop I always notch the frame no way around it. What rear kit did you use to lower it 5 inchEs? I've been lowering the sss for over 12 years now so I can dial in your truck just need to know what parts you went with? Shock extenderS in back? Shorter shocks in back?
  5. remember 2wd trucks you need the carrier bearing kit
  6. here is the kit 735 and the carrier bearing from drop down 65 http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=110
  7. lol hahah ive been lowering sss over 13 years now and yah i wouldnt touch those spindles or shocks. like i said the 3/4 kit with sp shocks ive been selling to members on this site for years now. NO issues and no loss of turning radius like with spindles. Also you get new balljoints and new bushings for the lower a arms in front. btw was 1100 with shocks or without?

  9. many have bought the same kit from me on here. no probs
  10. DJMs arms are adjustable 2-3 plus no loss turning radius plus new balljoints and new inner bushings so better way to go period.
  11. on the trucks ive set up over the past 12 years with my kit the rear set at 3 inches with the oem bumpstops taken off frame and the newer poly bumpstops replacing them ride has been fine. Only other thing that wakes the back of these trucks up a lot is the swaybar. Ive been using djms version on them for years now and great product
  12. if you decide to notch the frame I would do the belltech notch. Its thicker than the fram and actaully boxes it in. if you do my 3/4 kit the notch added in would be $280 shipped to your door.
  13. the kit i listed is a proven set up by many here that I have bought from me.
  14. your rear shackles are bad? You can just replace them you dont need to drill out the brackets.
  15. with the kit i set up its adjustable 2-3 front or 3-4 rear http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=110 so you can dial it in exactly
  16. ive installed and sold numerous c notches over the past almost 13 years since I did my first sss back in 2002. Hands down the belltech notch is the way to go. It actaully wraps the frame making it stronger and anyone who has taken off the rear bed and seen whats underneath will see a open channel frame. I sell the notch for 290 shipped to your door and comes with all bolts and hardware. The notch itself is thicker than the oem frame also. IIRC the notch kit alone is over 45 lbs. Heavy as heck if you have any questions just ask..
  17. doing the rear swaybar helps a lot. I have many customers that just do the rear bar i set up for them and makes the rear corner/tow much better http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=137 any questions just ask
  18. ive done this drop and tire set up. Rubs minor at full lock but you can heat up the fenderliners
