I hope you didnt pay more than $200 with shipping for it. I just went through this crap with my street scene bumper. I bought a used one in good shape and paid for the insurance well it got smashed up by fedex and I contacted the seller and he had a return set up. They picked up the cover and I started a claim with paypal. After the shipper got the bumper I never heard crap out of him. So paypal ruled in my favor but for the max of $200. I was left hanging on the rest. It sucked but I bought a new one and moved on.

thanks for the tip chevyman23. I have had all kinds of hell just getting a bumper. I ordered a used one on e-bay and it was torn up by fedex so I had to go through all that hassle with them and the shipper and only got some of my $$ back. I then found one on stillen with free shipping and finally got it painted. thanks for all the positive feedback guys!!

yeah I noticed that the other day but if you look at my old stock picture its about the same.

After several months of trying I finally got my bumper cover installed. I put in a SS billet grille in the bumper. I had to do lots of cutting on it to get it to fit......

P/N 15225006 is released for 2006 and 2007 model year vehicles only. The correct fuel cap for the 2004 and 2005 model year is P/N 15225005. Dealers who currently have P/N 15225006 on order (possibly back-ordered) for this concern should cancel their order and re-order P/N 15225005. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 05-06-04-043 (Section 06 - Engine/Propulsion System). Condition Some customers may comment that the fuel cap tether is too short to hook on the fuel door while fueling the vehicle. Cause The existing fuel cap tether is too short. The existing fuel filler housing elongated hole is too small to accommodate the new fuel cap tether. Correction Important: Clean the fuel filler cap and surrounding areas prior to removing the fuel filler housing in order to avoid possible contamination. 1. Remove the fuel fill cap. 2. Remove the fuel tank filler housing to fuel tank fill pipe screws. 3. Remove the fuel tank filler housing to body TORX® screws (1) and retainer (2). Important: It is NOT necessary to raise the vehicle in order to remove and/or install the fuel filler housing. 4. Remove the fuel filler housing from under the vehicle. 5. Install the new fuel filler housing, P/N 15289921, from under the vehicle. 6. Install the fuel tank filler housing to fuel tank fill pipe screws. Tighten Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in). 7. Install the fuel tank filler housing to body TORX® screws and retainer. Tighten Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in). Important: The new fuel cap, P/N 15225005 "tether strap" installs in the elongated hole in the fuel filler housing. DO NOT install the new fuel cap tether in the round hole in the fuel filler housing. 8. Install the new fuel cap, P/N 15225005, tether strap in the elongated hole in the fuel filler housing. 9. Install the fuel fill cap on the filler pipe and tighten until the cap clicks

i have 4 aftermarket covers in good shape and are all silver--no black in the middle. i also have 4 stockers that are not that great if you are interested.

If you dont need the mileage transfered to the new cluster then all you have to do is plug it in. It shouldnt require any programming for it to work. I have 3 clusters and I change them out all the time.........

thanks for the compliments. i bought the wheels, volant intake, and tailgate cap from members here. that is far as i am going. the best thing is that the wheels have been on since monday and my wife hasnt noticed them yet!! haha

i checked my local chevy dealer and the price on a new one is not too bad. they need the vin# to look it up. they gave me a best guess part# 15263858 w/o a vin#. list price was around $200. my price was $162.

you can call us speedo direct and buy a cluster from them. they will also program the miles for you if you want. thats where i got my cluster from. ask for Harry
