  1. Absolutely not I was the one that pushed to get the 1999-2006 truck headers. It was a header that had a lot or interest, there is plenty of things we need to get done but orders speak not saying you want one. i have been pushing for Ram headers for 2009-2012 no commitments so that keeps getting pushed back.
  2. We got real busy at the end of the year, and were closed for a week. we are back and i am going to try to get my truck up here for a video. the 2 inch headers have kind of stalled, as far as i can see we have a lot of projects going on if you push us for it get 10 pre order deposits it will be a lot easier for me to get to management to bump it up the production line.
  3. We have them avalible Header Part #67-52-175 for 1 3/4 Header Part #67-52-188 for 1 7/8 Catted Connection pipes for an SSS #67-56-CC-3 Off Road Connections for an SSS #67-56-OC-3
  4. We are currently working on a new web site hopefully be up before the end of the year, picture hopefully will be with the parts and links to YouTube. We are hoping to get video next week of the trucks with the headers. Any part fitment questions I will answer.
  5. Hey Guys, I am Drew, I work at Kooks I spoke with Zippy @ SEMA a few weeks ago and we had discussed this header for the Trucks that can benefit from a bigger tube. This header will have to go through some prototyping and may take a little time to get finished. If you are willing to wait we can get it done. We do not believe the fixture that was built for the 1 3/4 & 1 7/8 will be able to build a 2 inch header on. If the interest gets us to build this header it will probably be fit up against my personal truck, as this was the way it happened last year for the prototyping update to the early GMT800 trucks. Our headers fit 1999-2013, with the corresponding Y-Pipe to the specific truck. To also answer the questions of other vehicles, and the existing headers for specials contact Revolution Race Works he will be able to get you pricing. Any header exhaust related questions i will be happy to answer.
  6. Thank you for the compliments, I do my best to help everyone out as best I can. Kooks does offer both 1 3/4 & 1 7/8 with varoius connection pipes based on application. Fitment covers LS based 1500 series trucks. The heades will work on 2500 series trucks with a custom built Y-Pipe that you can have made, we can get you all the necesssary components to make that happen too.
  7. Yes that is correct those headers only fit the newer trucks the redesign fits all the trucks. Connection pipes have been completed. For SSS & Denali 6.0 fitment header part #67-52-175, Catted Connection part#67-56-CC-3

they are our Brand new design that fit from 1999-to Current LSX trucks we have Connection pipes for SS AWD/ Denali 6.0 trucks right now working on the connection for the 4.8-5.3. I put them on my truck Saturday sounds good can feel the performance going to have the tune touched up.

  10. Kooks Custom Headers is getting the finishing touches done on their Headers and Connection Pipes. Gains of 30-35 HP are normal on an untuned truck.
  11. we here at KOOKS Custom headers have my truck in R&D and making header for the 6.0 trucks. they should be avalible shortly my truck will the first with them i am doin 1 3/4 X 3 with new Green Cats Drew quote name='2BFAST' timestamp='1326468940' post='822961'] Your concept seems correct but you are looking way to deap into this subject in my opinion. What size piping you will need will depend on your plans for the truck. If its a daily driver with minor bolt ons go with 3/4. If you plan for FI or anything of the sort go with 7/8. Either way, these arent race cars and even if you put 7/8 on you wont notice. They are heavy trucks and minor bolt ons wont gain a great amount as far as seat of the pants feeling. On a different note, if you can put together a system that is all bolt on you will be better off in the long run. If you weld it and have to remove the exhaust for any reason say the transmission has to come out you have to cut the exhaust and have it re welded. If you have a bolt on kit all you gotta do it un bolt and bolt it back up. At the end of the day is your truck.
  12. i have the B&B that came with my truck when i bought it no drone reasonable when at idle can hear is when your on the throttle i think it is a good choice it was the dual exit ot the back & it started to melt the bumper cover so I had Kooks move them to the side i work for GM and we install the GM Performance exhaust they are loud
