Think about it,you have a hard top on the bed, and you load the bed of your SS up with luggage cause you and your wife a going on a weekend getaway. While on the way you get a flat tire for some reason. Where are you going to put the flat 20 inch tire and wheel. Chevy designed it so you can do that.
