Third gear acting weird????

Recommended Posts

I was driving at low speeds at normal engine temp., and the 2-3 shift took about 3 seconds, I actually had to let off the gas untill it would shift. It did this three times in a row, than I manually shifted, third was still delayed but only for a split second. Hasn't missed a beat since???? Maybe to many donuts in the snow???? :D I'm hoping this isn't the begining of the trouble I had with my Suburban, I hate taking the truck for warranty work.......usally F'd up worse when you get it back than when it was taken in. :banghead::banghead:

Was the tranny temp pretty low?  Maybe you had just left the house?  I have had mine act strange a few times, but usually only when it is cold.

The trans temp was 2-3 lines above the lowest reading, Was actually on my way home, probably drove about 9 miles before it happened. Maybe some debris in the valve body????, hasn't acted up in 100+ miles of driving.
