I had them in there for 5 mins and they are warm but the silicone isn't seperating. How long do I keep them in for? (aprox. time) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

misterp Posted February 28, 2005 Report Share Posted February 28, 2005 It didn't separate the OEM silicone as much as it hardened/cooked it. I did my lowers first, then the uppers - the first three I did not see much difference in the silicone or effort required to separate after heating at 175 for 10-mins. The last headlight I left in the oven at 190-ish for 35 mins, that last one was still just as hard to crack but pulled apart a bit easier (read that as, could pull the rest of it apart with bare-handed gorilla-effort). But, the dial on my oven may not be accurate so I may not have been getting the first three warm enough Mr. P. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
