SSoCal Posted March 3, 2005 Report Share Posted March 3, 2005 i was originally going to get the mcgaughy's lowering kit until i saw that the hotchkis coils and leaf springs would give the same drop. since i was going to get the hotchkis sway bars anyway im thinking of just buying the TVS. will the TVS fit on the SS? any comments on this setup or past experiences? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
matt rem Posted March 3, 2005 Report Share Posted March 3, 2005 It won't work, we have torson bars on the front of these trucks. There is no coil spring. I don't know anyone who has lowered their truck and used the sway bars at the same time. I thought about the lowering kit, but I hear about vibrations from the driveline being at the wrong angle and taking away from the ride quality. I quess its a trade off.
