whmayhew
I have an 88 Corvette. The auto trans is leaking around the filler neck tube where it goes in to the tranny. It seems that the rubber grommet is bad. In about any other car this would not be a big problem as you would take out the one bolt that holds the tube to the bell housing. I crawled under it last Saturday and it looks like about an 8 hour job. Anyone have any ideas or shortcuts? I think that it might be alot easier to bore a hole through the floor board if you knew where to put the hole. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
