BigTex
I always placed mine back some, closer to the filter. My thinking was it would have more time to fully mix with the air and give equal amounts to all cylinders. It probably doesn't matter.

jblaze67
Whats that NOS system cost, And is it going to hurt the motor. Are the pistons a good forged piston?
deezel
Many people recommend putting the nozzle of a wet kit directly in front of the throttle body. Most kits recommend that the nozzle be placed less than 12" from the TB. Mine is located about 9" from the TB and 6" from the sharp bend in the duct just before the TB. I agree with BigTex's theory that longer mixing time in the intake duct reduces the possibility of uneven distribution of nitrous between the cylinders. I suppose a worst case scenario would be if you placed the nozzle right at the throttle body and had it misaligned so that it was aimed toward one side of the intake manifold. SSBeaumont
Highly rec. a wideband O2 for tuning. Not all vehicles are the same. Better safe then sorry. Nitrous does not give you warning signs. It will just happen. Start the jetting on the rich side.
