NebraSSka truck Posted July 10, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 10, 2005 i worked on that complaint back when i was a tech quite a few times. about 90% of those complaints were caused by an aftermarket bug guard. occasionally this condition was from some other reason. you'll find that most of the trucks having this issue have a non-gm bug guard on the hood. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The hood deflector on my truck is actually a GM accessory.
