SSilverad03 Posted July 3, 2003 Report Share Posted July 3, 2003 I had a intake from JG performance on my 2002 silverado and removed it before I traded it in for the SS. This was in hopes that it might work on the SS. The day I got word from the dealer it was mine I put it in. This intake was designed for a 2001 4.8/5.3. The only real problem was with isolation box which separates the K@N from the motor. One of the bolt holes do not quite line up, however it does not make a big difference. You can find this intake in any Summit Racing catalogs in the truck section. I did not see it on the online catalog. By the way it made a big difference in power and I love the sound of that 6 Liter sucking that air!!!!!!!! I think I paid about 210.00 after shipping and everyting.
