Anyone know how to hook up an Alpine TME M710 monitor so that it'll work with the truck moving? I only have 1 right now but I'm seriously thinking about getting 2 more for the headrests. Right now I wanna have it work with the truck in motion. I know it cant be as simple as power and ground... anyone have any ideas??? Thanks in advance. Chad

P.S. I'm keeping the factory radio... I have the PXGM24 interface.

I thought about not replying cause all you are asking for is a traffic accident. Anyways if you'd like to yes it's almost as easy as power and ground chief. Typically installers wire them to the e brake so you can only play a video when it's set but you can workaround that by creating a ground and by using a switch to interrupt that signal flow.

Because some units have to see a break in the signal flow (Pioneers AVICN2, JVCs new unit...hell even the Dual P.O.S.) you have to use a toggle switch or rocker...whatever you prefer to have visually. Just remeber when you are done viewing and are leaving the car to flip it back otherwise you'll potentially drain the battery.

Thanks for the reply! I care about my truck too much to drive and watch tv. Basically I got 1 monitor on wed, but I'm thinking about going back and getting 2 more for the headrests.

Alpine has the "brakedance" to by pass. OR you can read in the manual and it shows you how to overide it with inserting a wir for rear entertainment only. also IMO the 710 is too big the headrests. they cover the stitching and it just doesnt look right, see if you can get the 580 screen. that is what i have and LOVE them I have 3 of the BTW. let me know if you have more questions.
