Looks pretty good with the tins on it - is the hood a modified GM 'power bulge' hood?

Mr. P. :)

Actually we bought all factory GM parts... Hood, fenders, door skins, a used long bed, and a used cab. We then skined the cab for the roof and rear pillars and mounted them. we skined the long bed for the sides trimmed and mounted them to fit the specific wheelbase. Then we went on and mounted the fenders and hood which I welded to the fenders and we ended up with a 3" gap between the fenders and the door skins, so I made filler pieces to take up the gap. We have a guy who does all of or fiberglass/carbon fiber work and he made the fender flares front and rear and then made a cowl on the steel hood. believe it or not this was all done out of modeling foam. Then these pieces were used as a plug which we them made a mould off of and made carbon fiber pieces from there. The front bumper statrted off as a factory piece as well and I cut just the top of the bumper away from the rest of it and we bought the lower plastic as a model, it wasn't actually used but our fiberglass guy used it to make the lower half below the top of the bumper so it resembled the factory look of a GMC bumper. That piece is also carbon fiber the only steel pieces of the body are the roof skin, the door skins, and the tailgate skin, everything else is carbon fiber. the lower pieces below the doors were made up from scratch "side pods" the scoop in the front of both of them will be used to evacuate air from under the hood and the brakes. The rear scoop on the drivers side will be used to bring air in for cooling of the rear brakes and the rear on the right side will be a bit different and this is where our exhaust will exit. The two black squares on the tailgate will be mimicked on the opposite side of the tailgate and they will be cut out and left as holes to evacuate air. Air will flow throught the grill and bumper for cooling of the brakes, radiator, intercoolers, then flow throught the right side of the cab which is closed off the the drivers compartment and flow to the rear of the truck (the bed) which will be completely inclosed and house oil coolers for the engine, rearend, and 5 speed trans, the air will finally exit through the 4 large holes in the tailgate.
