Alright, here's my enclosure for my jl audio 10w3's. I meant to take pics with the seat down, but I forgot. It's flush with the seat though. Of course I had to raise the seat by 2 inches, but it's actually not that bad. I wish I could take the credit for the work, but I'm not that talented. I'll just take credit for paying for it! Well, anyway, just wanted to share. No engine mods yet, and I know I could have a pretty fast truck for what I paid in audio equipment, but I'm working on it! Can't do it all at once unfortunately. Also I got a sweet deal on some 24's and I had to jump on it. I personally don't even like them, but I couldn't pass up the deal. The plan is to powdercoat the inside black, but for now, I guess I'm looking like everybody else on chrome. The ride quality is virtually unchanged (I couldn't believe it), and I'm relatively satisfied wit them. OK, so let me know what you think, aight?!

Sweet Enclosure Man..

(Glad I did not make it) The amt of sanding that had to be done on that thing had to be sick!!! Makes me tired just thinking about it!!!

I like the wheels man,, they look good! and if you drop it down a bit they will look even better!!!!!

nice!!!

so what kinda super deal did you get on those 24's?

Well, Discount Tire put 'em on a denali, but the guys scratched 3 of the rims while installing them(VERY small, almost unnoticeable scratches), and of course, they gave the guy new ones, and sold those to me for $100 each. I had to pay $459 for the 4th one though. Still - $759 for chrome 24's is hard to beat, dontcha think?

that is very nice!!  are those the original w3s or v2s?  how does it sound?

They are v2's, and I've got a 500/1 on each pair. The box is airtight, so it really pounds! The ultra-low stuff comes in really nice, and the punchy stuff will take your breath away - literally! I have a jl 300/2 on the front components(diamond d9's), so the sound quality is definitely there. The sound shop told me after-the-fact, that I could've gone with the w6v2's, but I'd probably have to add 2 more 500/1's. Well, I'd be willing to do that, but we'd have to figure out where to mount 2 more(5 total) amps, along with the diamond crossovers which are HUGE. Plus, the mounting hole is different, so it's a moot point now, unless I wanted to spring for a whole new box - no thanx!
